Garden pinball house?

Thanks all. :)

Looks like a few over on Sunday for the move and four pin loans arriving. Locals welcome Sunday if fancy it.... and will sort a meet during Feb for anyone interested in coming over. Should have 12 in there initially, 14 max. when that time comes.

Have you done a break down of the costs? If so would you be able to PM them to me?
Apparently, I have to build a pinball house this year so we can decorate the room they occupy and I want to budget costs.
You sound like the generosity of several NLP'ers have helped it never ceases to amaze me how great you guys are and highlight how us middle earth Londoners don't know each other better. ;)

You're right Geoff, was offered help with the whole lot from foundation to finish but didn't really have the spare time myself for that. Generous lads up here though ! I've overspec'd on the finish, including windows etc. but wanted it to appeal as a games room, office, gym, summer house whatever for if we sell in future.

Just started adding things up for you..... let me check what all the materials cost and will let you know. Beginning to think I've spent more than I thought......

Don't mistake south people with London area, they are like another country to each other.
I would move North but I would need to learn the language and I just don't have the time.

Cheers @JMP. Rough costs are fine but I like the spec you have gone for and want a similar outcome.

Actually, it's really funny, John lives 15 minutes away from me, and he catches me out with funny words and phrases that I have never heard before, and sometimes I have to ask him what they mean

Further oop north in the cumbria region its known as a Tea Cake... Bloody inbreds..

Enough bread humour.
How did the move go john. Let's see the line up. Sorry was in work else would of been there mate.

Yeah I know, the £1mil rebuild is for mine and if I take the neighbours with me! :)
Pop a quote in Tesco's insurance website. And give them a call.

When I spoke the guy on the phone and told him pinballs and told him the price of some of them (BBB -£10k) he was like wow I used to play pinball in the pub, don't see them anymore.

I did ask a lot of questions and asked for him to check with the underwriters and came back with pinballs I think were classed as contents/furniture not electronics, not antiques or valuables.

Just bumping this as need to get proper insurance sorted.... @Dave Bishop - I've just spoken to Tesco and can get the £90K Contents cover I need for all pins and normal house stuff in the main house plus outbuildings but they're limiting theft cover from with outbuildings to £5K and not budging. I presume yours is the same? Pins won't be easy to shift I know but just bothered about when on holiday for a couple of weeks....

Anyone got an insurer giving theft cover on Contents within outbuildings higher than £5K? Could take me fr*ggin ages shopping around checking out this point in particular..... Cheers.

Isn't the 90k total with a singular limit though John, pretty sure you need to specify each item over £1.5k with most insurers which costs extra AND you can only have 15k total specified items. I've gone a different route and insured my pins for fire and flood only at the moment although insurance is due next week so re-checking this in next few days.

Last year Direct Line covered up to £10k for garage and outbuildings for theft then they put it down to £5k this year. Now with Privilege Platinum and value is £7.5k for theft. Total contents value is £100k which covers anything in either the house or garage for damage/flood/fire etc. Other than that you'll need a specialist policy.
