Today I worked on......

Received the parts for my FT reel today so I thought I’d get it all fitted this evening to see if it would get the reel moving again.

I removed the old belt and compared it to the new one. Straight away I could see the old one looked like it had stretched quite a bit. Whilst the reel mechanism was apart I also changed both pulleys as well.
Ithink this was one of the issues I was having as the flat part of the centre hole had rounded off and someone had put a small piece of thin plastic in to try and make a tight fit.
Cleaned the opto’s and got it all back together then run a quick reel test.
Worked a treat. It’s so much better now I can actually get a multi ball 👍🏻

Robowar, had 2 dodgy bayonet fittings for lighting in the backbox. Picked up a cheap led fitting from Screwfix today as my immersion heater stat was nearly blowing up my hot water tank so was forced to go.
£12.99 cool white only but looks ok and fitted in nice and easy although snug against the cables between the 2 boards, shouldn’t get hot so will be ok.
Will do Gold Wings next👍

Very simple but effective - change the black post rings for red/white/blue for the Captain America shot [emoji106]

Thanks Jim @myPinballs for the MPU and 5v board for my Gold Wings, also for the proper siren it’s all about the bass😎
There was nothing wrong with it but I like Jim’s new boards and a non shrieking siren😁A30E9C2C-1AA0-4333-B7E0-F9834DA6EBA4.jpeg

Yeah that other siren was just abit odd. The original gold bodied round sirens with chrome slotted grill are great :)

Finished tarting up my recently purchased TMNT today and pretty pleased with how it's looking  A few choice upgrades inc powder coat, speaker lights, Krang and Shredder figures, side art blades and a load of cool plastics from Col @Colywobbles I've got a sheet of invsiglass coming for it in Neil's latest shipment and that should be about it :D

As Mando would say “this is the way” the pro is the best of the 3 and it’s nice to put your own touches to it.
This is from someone with an LE. 😳
Looking great and not breaking the bank either.
Invisiglass is a no brainer and shaker integration is top drawer if you wanna push the boat out.

Thanks Col @Colywobbles  I was thinking about a shaker as well but the opinions I've canvassed so far seem split on whether it's any good in Turtles.....I shall think on this some more. Anyone else with a TMNT that's running a shaker I'd be interested to hear if you think it's a good upgrade?

Man that’s a pretty game. My fave stern art package in long time

If you get invisiglass and shaker these are the 2 things you can take from pin to pin so they no brainer.
Keep them when you sell your pin and immediately your new one is enhanced ten fold.

Or like me end up buying them for every pin you own. 🤣

Today I received notice that my longest and most difficult project is going on Saturday.
It’s going to a good home where it will be appreciated, I lost money on it without question but I didn’t do it for the money, it was a challenge, just a bigger challenge than I originally bargained for !

You've done a cracking job there.

Do you have a shop log for this? I couldn't find it :)

Just interested to know what you did, how long it took and approximately how much it cost (incase I want to take on something similar someday).

Fantastic job you did there. Definitely took it to another level. I know what you mean though.
If your not into it to make money then you might as well do it to the best of you ability and enjoy the process.

Whoever’s getting it I’m sure will not be disappointed.
