TFTC 20 piece flo plastic set.
Made these to protect an enhance the existing set on my TFTC and Shaw up a couple of cracked/broken ones.
I have done these in Acid green for the pop but can easily do them in clear.

Big day for me today!

Lots of time spent on my Rotation VIII, the MPU I damaged by dropping one of the support legs on came back from Jim @myPinballs all fixed and working, which left a few existing issues to be rectified. As the whole playfield rotates within the cabinet all cabinet switches (flipper buttons, start game, coin door switches and the power) come through a commutator, one flipper switch had been acting up intermittently, so it was out with its guts to get access to its bowels…

With this done it was time to give the table rotation drive some love, in the main just stripping, cleaning and re-lubing the gearbox, then setting up the table rotation encoder and tightening up various parts of the drive that had become loose over the last 40 years!

I’m really happy with how it all worked out, the flipper button issue is now resolved and the table positioning is now super quiet and very accurate.

Happy flipping everyone 😊

Chris.

PS Thanks Jim 👍

Nothing makes me more happy then seeing this Roation VIII back up and working 100%!!!

Been a long road of pain and oscilloscopes to get this cpu back and going, which started last year before christmas i think from memory. Longest repair yet i think ( in 30 years!!) Had to learn how the crazy design board worked whilst also battling the obscure parts and hard to find ics sourcing. Finally cracked it though and now we have a happy Chris again :)

I also now know alot more about this 1 off games cpu boards!!

Finshed the brackets for me RGB led rings for lit flipper buttons on FT Restore.

Powered by an Arduino nano.

Ghostbusters finally came home about a month ago after being out on a couple of loans since Xmas. Set it up last night and fitted a few extra bits and pieces to it today. Just the pin monk gel to fit under the playfield + Colin’s slime protectors and I’m done. Really happy with how the topper turned out since you can’t get the official one any more. It plays the original music video on loop.

Excited to play this again

Special thanks to Davey @stumblor for sorting out the XL Pin2dmd.

Great game looks good in white love a gb premium

Apart from working on topper ideas I’m kinda Struggling to think of a mod I can add due to how loaded this thing is! However tonite I had a eureka moment and installed some VU meters either side of the backboard.

Just a trial thing at the moment but gonna make them permanent after playing an hour tonite.

Not bad for £15 the pair.
