It feels a bit high, I would have said a working LW3 was a £1000 - £1200 but with the last minute bids this is likely to get I guess I am wrong!
And no beacon on top either
Dodgy display only (apparently) wouldn’t be surprised to see this reach 1800 nowadays

Not a theme for me, but lower end of dmd market has seen increases of 50-70% this yearWell...I’ve a fully working LW3 I’d sell for that kinda money

Odd really. Why would anyone in this day and age choose a site limiting their exposure and chance of selling. Clearly it's not on FB, Ebay etc or one of us would have seen it.

I'd love to own my first DMD game and I enjoyed LOTR at Pinfest 2018. I definitely think you're right about that machine being gone though as anyone who ever stumbled upon it would snap it up in an instant.

What’s up with the colouring of that hook play field? how come there’s so much yellow? It doesn’t look like sun fade so much as a different play field and slingshots.
