tbh if it was fully working and immaculate that would not be out the ball park. seems the old Stern tie ins like ALI and NUGENT weren't very popular in the UK whereas METEOR and GALAXY were everywhere

1911 Data East Checkpoint Pinball Machine Comes With Keys For Restoration

£699 starting bid in a charity shop in Southampton doesn't say if it's working or not? bit of water staining on bottom might be worth a look if your local?
What does anyone think a checkpoint is worth?

someone has been hunting in their warehouse

very rare in the UK , only time I saw one was at POA 1988 when Associated Leisure kindly donated 7 dead machines ( including one of these) to support the event , which Bob Thomson got mostly working during the set up day and were dutch auctioned on the Saturday. I think Ali sold about £60 , my mate bought Paragon for £102 which was top of the bids. A dead Galaxy went home with Bob as no starting bid of £20.

That was the show in Loughborough, wasn't it? There were two ALI's there, the other (No. 1740) was one of mine, used for the qualifying rounds of the competition. The oddball of the donated machines was a Bally Hotdoggin' (yes, it really was called that).

The ops in this area must've been keen on discounted-to-clear games; there were two Nugents and an ALI among the Stern games seen around here at the time.

Never seen an Ali before. One of those sure would look nice stood next to a Rocky though.

I was at Associated Leisure all the time buying there cast offs and trying to rescue older games from the scrap line. they distributed Zac games so loads around the midlands. They had 2000 fruit machines in the warehouse and rarely more than 20 pins. just numbers to them. if you didn't buy it or weren't told about what was available , it usually went in the crusher. yould turn up to pick up a comet and sorcerer and see fathoms paragons etc left outside as unlisted stock. too old to have a book value so they couldn't sell them to you even at £1. I did get a devils riders for £1 once (plus vat of course - 15p what a disgrace!) .

you had to bribe the scrap contractor so you could put them in the van or ask them to look the other way whilst you forced the backglass out and tried to grab the pcbs. video games? no one wanted them so space invaders pacman tron star wars etc all in the crusher.

The seller of the Ali has emailed to say it is still available at £1200 but strangely can't send me any more pictures!

Pinbot Pinball Machine

£450 start £800 buy it now? Newcastle way

Advert reads as:-
Lovely old pinbot pinball machine that has been used and working well until recently but now needs some attention as doesn't always work as it should but with help from someone who understands these machines it will soon be up and talking again. Machine itself in great condition and very appealing to the right person.

Probably battery leakage on the MPU board....

It's in West Wales.
They contacted me in January to fix it.
They couldn't tell me what it wasn't doing, couldn't send photos etc.
In the end said try someone more local as I was rarely in their area. Don't know anymore after that.
