Complete Creature from the faded lagoon

Here's with everything on last night around midnight.

I did more stuff like flipper button removal and cleaning and screw mount replacement underneath nothing worth picturing.

I have a new ramp ordered should arrive Wednesday. Also new plastics from @Matt Vince!

Bloody Millwax!

A good tip for routed screw holes some wooden toothpicks and wood glue stuffed in the hole.

BTW @myPinballs does a 3d printed backbox light shield for creech, i.e. the CREATURE lights if it's toast.
Nice thanks! Will order one.
May finally have to order @stumblor 's chase lights the whirl pool lights at the moment look poo.

Any suggestions on what could be causing the kiss led to fail?

I switched it to another known working bulb holder and bulb no difference.

Yeah - thought I recognised this from piccies.

One of my lockdown clear outs.

Ended up going to a pal of mine so I put in a few LEDs, got the boardset running better and putting in (I forget the guys name who did them) a kinda fake pin2dmd. Same panels but the guys awful design of PCB that runs it. Get a pin2dmd or proper colordmd for this game. Then have proper colours! Funnily enough I came across the original DMD in my workshop.....

Haha great I certainly didn't pay that price but a lot has changed in 2 years ...

Thanks for this.

You didn't super glue the ramp right? 🤣

Absolutely not.

The game was going to have a minty restore but could not be bothered.

Needed new pf, ramps, plastics etc and cabinet restore.

Playfield I'm salvaging for now but the rest I'm doing!

Stay tuned! 😁

I bought a full set of insert, GI and backbox comet LED'S from retro arcade specialists great guy David really helped me out. Highi recommend!

Somewhere else in the UK that does Comets?!🎉🎉
And he stocks warm whites... although backordered. Was it all in stock when you ordered?

It's a clear plastic post, can be seen from IPDB pics, maybe decorative or upper ramp rests on it.

@s000m

- ensure the top is removed
- loosen off the 3 other mount points
- insert the screw through the plate into the post left of the scoop
- once all in place tighten all of the down (ensuring the spare washer in the kit is placed over the plate near the ramp otherwise the nut bottoms out on the post before it tightens the plate)

Over all I have sold over 300 of these and never heard or got feedback of fitment issues so if the above does not work then , someone must of changed a post location as the slots at the top are wide enough for the plate to adjust to post variance.
