If you do the switch needs adjusting

Sent from my Atari 2600
Yeah, I am having that issue (it’s pretty common from what I hear).

What did you do to adjust the switch? Could you provide some pictures?

Does it not come down that far once adjusted?

Game is closed up now. I'll check of I have any pictures.

Look under the playfield and the ramp motor operates with an egg shaped crank that hits two switches. I haven't adjusted them but I assume these turn the motor off at the expected up or down angle.

Easy enough to test. Adjust the down switch to stop the motor earlier. Maybe put some paper between the playfield and ramp when down and adjust.

I am about half way through fitting my UV Kit today (what a faff that is!) and I am having a little issue with one of the plastics. It’s the top right plastic with the newspapers.

It doesn’t appear to align with the playfield and looks a little off. Both non-UV and UV plastics are identical, but after being removed neither seem to align properly. I stupidly forgot to take pictures before I removed, so did anyone else have this issue?

Can you adjust the metal rail? Loosen the boot and move and tighten.

Only do that if you think they're off though!

UV Kit fitted! Fiddly, but not too bad in the end.

Anyway, during the fitting this plastic washer fell out, anyone know where it’s from or what it does?

Thanks!

I also see the Topper Lights have been added, so that cannot be far away.

Anyone know what that will be? Joyce's Christmas Wall maybe?

The code has been taken down due to issues with the switches not registering.

Hopefully that will be fixed soon.

Never seen Final Showdown or Snow Ball Dance modes so I guess this won't affect me much!

No additional modes or lockdown bar button functionality which is a shame.

It was a total nightmare installing the UV kit. I knackered the thread on one of the bolts for the right ramp UV fixture.

Sent from my Atari 2600

You need to re-tap the threads on them, as i mentioned above before installing them, otherwise you can strip the screws.

Luckily though i have a load of #6 1/4 bolts with shaker proof washer on route form the USA, so will be adding to my list of bolts soon.

I used these from amazon for the taps

I will take a look tonight. Mine is still ‘up on the ramp’ whilst I wait for the powdercoating to come back.

Anyone know was DJ Mixer is?
