Looking like an awesome group of players from all over the world!!

hello everybody , Olivier from Belgium here . We would be very interested to come to London with 8 persons for the uk open . Any suggestions for an nice payable hotel not too far from the venue . Is the venue easy to reach with public transfer or do we really need a car . Thx in advance

A lot seem to be staying at the Aerodrome, I'm at the Grand Sapphire, or you could stay at the venue itself Hilton London Croydon (if you're feeling particularly rich).

All within a very short walking distance.

I'm at the the Premier Inn, probably the closet hotel to the Hilton, with free-parking
no main road to cross after beers and next to KFC/McDonalds for that midnight snack
Cheers Bob

In case it hasn't already been mentioned here yet (soz if it has), for the Aerodrome, if you sign up for a free rewards card, you get a discount- worked out £177.60 for 3 nights. Thanks again to @Itch for the heads up on that👍

Looks like there are some very good players coming to this.

As I had a few spare minutes, here's the current entry list with country and in current world ranking order (looks like nobody has yet registered from Belgium):

Nobody wants to miss out on this. Even if you aren’t great at pinball the social aspect of this is going to be off the wall.

hearing a few more big US players now giving it serious consideration. might we hear the mighty boooom ;) let’s hope so

There is no maximum!

the problem with pinburgh is we need a lot more games - but we are working on it!

I'm happy to bring 2 or 3, whatever fits in a van ( don't think we can afford to stretch to a Luton )

Just want to note that this is a huge team effort from Matt, Mike P, Nick H, Tim, Diane, Clive, Graham, Thomas and more.

If you need any more help I'm sure lots of the UK folks would be happy to support, me included. No idea what I can do but considering I doubt I'll be in any playoffs I'll have time🤣

Feeling somewhat overawed by the people I may be playing against - but whatever happens, it's gonna be an awesome experience, with "I was there" bragging rights.
There is nothing to fear, only a few of them are androids playing like robots. The rest are cool guys who don't come across from time to time. So there's a chance to fight 🤣

Bye bye music festival 😥 but hello UK open 😀 came to my senses this morn and realised that this was too big an opportunity to pass up. Its not often if ever the UK gets such big comp's and believe me these are MUCH cheaper entries than INDISC. Come on people lets support this, its on our homeground!
