they would have done had it not been for the shortage of screens.

I spoke with Elecrocoin on another matter and they seemed to think a container would be here before the end of July. I'd guess some pro's would be on it and hopefully my LE :D I heard @JAG555 LE was having some personal touches done by Gary Stern and won't get here until October.

The shortage of parts is not just screens. A lot of electronic components are getting harder to get.

Get used to it. Big companies worldwide are stopping production, even Jaguar Land Rover have laid staff off for 3 weeks in total in the last 2 months.

I bet Stern are kicking themselves as they sold all those node boards and CPU boards cheap a few months ago.

Too true Phil.
Im in the car manufacturing industry and sales are being hit hard, due to the chip shortage. Hopefully we can ride it out without too many job losses. We will see what happens when the furlough ends in September, but I fear the worst.

Ok here is my take on it after a fair bit of play on it last night
Theame is awesome and stern have nailed it
It got pretty much all the attributes theame music absolutely tons of movie footage on the display and great call outs too
Art package I liked but art is not a really big thing fit me I powder coated it in sparkle orange and gloss black speaker panel
It shoots absolutely lovely silky smooth you can even backhand the steep left ramp no issues out of the box other than a wire resting on a ball guide which caused a ball hang up quickly tucked it under the ramp and job sorted
Art on the playfield is nice and I like the layout the skill shot over the ball guides is a bit hit and miss I think needs a little code tweek on that I updated it from 0.92 to 0.96 and I can’t really fault the code already a lot of action button with using the goodies you can buy
All the shots are nice and well balanced and the modes are awesome the only negative thing I can say but I did expect this is the mini playfield but as all mini playfield there is only so much you can do with it but just hitting lit targets is not that thrilling and there is definitely a knack of keeping the ball in there maybe they can improve that a little bit with code so overall it’s a big tick ✅ from me

indeed, I'm part of a group advising the government on this at the moment... If you think its bad now- its about to get a lot worse. Just as the recession kicks in too.

Neil.

@CHRIS B PINBALLS Whats your thoughts on the shaker motor you added? Worthwhile getting for this game or does it not add much?

My Mandalorian is getting delivered on Wednesday. Can’t wait….especially after your good write up. Cheers.

Keith.
interestingly on new LE's they've moved to a different speaker supplier, same quality; but I kind of liked the kendwoods as they lit up well with the speaker lights.

@Neil McRae Hey Neil,
I do not recognise that brand from your picture anyway. do you know what company it is? is it part of the Harman International group?
cheers Keith. (Comparatively speaking Kenwood/Jvc group speakers are never the best quality, well in the car audio world anyway).

Well, I received my Mando today and very happy with it, I’ve been playing most of the day. I’m still getting the hang of the rules and making the shots as some of the shots are quite tight.
The easiest shot is the middle ramp which is nice to start multiball. I try and start modes to make it more interesting.
The little playfield up the top is kind of cool, its fun nudging to keep the ball in play up there.
My only complaints would be the clear plastic ramps covering the playfield. It would have been nicer of Stern to include metal ramps like the premium and LE versions. I’ll think about contacting the guy on pinside making his own version.
My other minor moan is there should have been drop targets and 3 pop bumpers instead of 2. Stern also don’t include a spare set of sling shot plastics in the goodie bag, so really hoping I don’t break them. I have asked @Colywobbles to make me a set of protectors to extend their lifespan.

Apart from my minor winging about cost cutting, the bottom line is that it is a very fun game that does what it supposed to, entertain and immerse you in the world of Mandalorian.

My cat Benito has given it the once over approves as well and also loves his new bed 😁.
