What's new

The "How much is this table worth" thread....

Whats an DE Starwars go for in today's market in ok condition?

Sold my lovely one last year for 3400.
Stripped down and cleaned, lots new parts - motors, translite, side rails, some plastics, LED, Pin2DMD Colour display, new power board. A nice clean well lit one is a thing of beauty 🥰
I disagree that it's a boring game - Chads new code helps a lot. There is plenty going on with some genuinely exciting timed modes. I thoroughly enjoyed it and always a big hit with visitors and casual players. Star Wars innit !

Agreed IMO, £3-4K for a Data East is strong money.

I always loved the cabinet art package though on that. Players condition, £1.5K? In the 2022 market that's probably plus another £500 / £1000.

When folk are paying 1500 for a boardless Shadow carcass as a project......I think 1500 for a working Star Wars is probably shooting a bit low :D

I did say "In the 2022 market that's probably plus another £500 / £1000." So £2000 - £2500 for players condition, in todays market.

@DanSeldon spiderman £3.5k-4k, more if it's mint. The one you link does look in very good condition based on the doc ock magnet having almost no wear. Still I don't think it's worth £5k...

Thanks Fubar. As mentioned a million times its got that £1000 Ebay/Fb tax already applied.

So given apparent carcass prices......what's the £ estimate for a good players condition BK2K; spotless cab, mirror backglass, LEDs and nice bright playfield (some bubbling under mylar but plays perfectly and plastics all good)?

In my defence if I can get a working Shadow for £2500 in todays market is that not a great deal?

Morning folks.
How much do you think I’d be looking at for my Stern Transformers Pro?
Colour dot matrix display
Cabinet in very good condition. A bit of crinkle around the legs and shooter, but nothing else.
As I only have space for one, it’s one in, one out. That’s the only reason. It’s a game that keeps you on the table and you can have some nice loooong games on it. It was at Pinfest last year, so you may have already played in it!
I just want enough to swap for a machine of equal age/quality really.
I’d really like a POTC so hope it’s worth about the same as one of those.

Not so sure now, seller claims there's another buyer looking at it and that he hopes he'll have time to send more photos... seems slightly strange? I'd want close up photos before buying anything sight unseen...
Interestingly enough this KoS with another interested buyer is now listed for £900 instead of the £1300 it was offered to me at ;)

Remember the bitcoin money guys. This is filtering into all manner of luxury purchases like cars, houses, rolexes ....

A small but significant number of folk have made serious, serious windfalls in the past few years. These guys buy London houses for cash on a whim.

A uni mate of mine has made many, many millions out of bitcoin. He sold half of his stash and just retired.

Even of the other half becomes worthless, he is covered for life with the "normal" investments that he rolled his realised bitcoin into

for every penny made in Bitcoin someone is yet to make a return or has already lost money. It’s the most insane pyramid scheme ever.
