JJP GNR Pinball

OK- so I have managed to get Pinwoofer kits for JJP G&R with a lower shipping rate of $45 not $109 if I order a certain amount of them.

price is $395 +$45 for the set with mounting bracket for amp, or $365 without.

Any G&R buyer

@Dave Bishop

I’m in for the full set $395+45 with red mounting bracket too please Dave. Just let me know how much you want off me now and I’ll pp it over
Cheers
Jon

Absolutely not worth the risk on a group buy marking down if you get orders for let’s say 1000 and you mark it down to 100 and it goes missing then you will only be insured for 100 if you do this as a group buy then I would make people aware if it messed up they have lost there money
It depends on the courier and the person you are dealing with who is shipping it.
I’ve had pin art shipped over for 20 USD contents, obviously worth more but the standard insurance for the contents was 250 USD.
If the shipper pays a few extra bucks they can up the insurance even higher.
For example: you may have a discounted product coming to you for a number of reasons but it’s not necessary a lower value shipment so it still carries the higher insurance if it goes missing.
I hear what you’re saying though, on a group be a bit more risk, if something goes missing and people start digging.

Why are you spending $400 on a kit for a machine from a manufacturer that allegedly scrimps on nothing and has a far superior BoM and build quality than other notable manufacturers??????????

Same because apparently the sound isn’t that good.. and the Pinwoofer set up is a good product.

I will play a few games without it and then install and be the judge.
I can always change it to a different JJP if I like

Greetings UK! We're new to this forum and want to respect the UK pinball culture here. Asking as a guest, would you like us to post a brief comment about our product, and some links to what others have said about PinWoofer in GNR? Thanks for your consideration!

@PinWoofer - of course sir, I’m already sold.
I’ve got my order in via @Dave Bishop but it would be good for you to offer your expertise to those maybe sitting on the fence a bit unsure 😃

Super, and thanks!

We were not at all impressed with the audio on GNR and it has everything to do with the hardware (amplifier, cabinet speaker and tweeters). The track itself is amazing once you liberate from the hardware, and put the PinWoofer system in play.

Until we received our copy of GNR in March we had no idea how bad the backbox sounded and unfortunately, the CE sound bar.

We set to work to fine tune the title. Also, we completed development of the tweeters and made them available to our past JJP customers with an emphasis on getting all of the GNR's upgraded. All late JJP systems (DI! and later) now ship with the tweeters included.

The factory tweeters distort at low volume levels, sound "grindy" and prevent you from getting any sort of appreciable amplitude. The PinWoofer system cleans up the backbox nicely and allows you to break through and play loudly with a clean result. Our amplifier provides the headroom you need to get a well defined (stereophonic) sound field. We're extremely pleased with the outcome. Below are a few testimonials:

I was rather hoping for quality sound out the box with a CE. I’m now wondering whether I’m going to be disappointed- if ever there was a game that needed ridiculously good sound, I would have thought it was this ?!

Welcome 'PinWoofer' interested in the discount % you can offer us UK Pinballers please; perhaps a few more of us may be converted?

We don't have any promotional discounts at this time and do not foresee any in the future (and unfortunately, our costs are rising on all fronts). David Bishop is grouping up a shipment to UK so perhaps you can check with him since combined shipping does offer an overall savings. Thanks for the question!

Bloody hell!! I'm months away from the pin getting here but go on then!! @Dave Bishop please include me too in pinwoofer bulk buy but whats the bracket and colour about? Is there a link to this product please so I know what I'm actually getting!!

You don’t even get a quality playfield out of the CE.
