Play field was a bit of a deal breaker for me. Shame, amazing game
I'd of thought it would of fetched alot more if the playfield was good.
Have you asked about on pinballowners on your first game? Search games for sale and you'll get quite a few for sale you'd be interested in.

Hey Darren, I did have a very quick look the other day, I'm sort of keeping my powder dry to have a bid on that Creech, although it's already at £2450.... No idea where it'll end up. Trying my best to bide my time and get the right one

Too much you think? I honestly have no idea what it's worth. Seems the Ebay market is all over the place and only getting worse

They seemed to usually end up north of £3500 when I was interested in buying one last year. Make sure you like the game first though. I wasn't much of a fan after playing it at NLP.

It's an awesome game and theme if it plays properly. I'm just useless at the multiball on it though. Wish it had a ball save on multiball mode so i don't instantly drain

Not a creech fan either. I don't understand the draw to it? Maybe after a good pinsounding it will be bearable?

I do really like the game and theme but I can't/won't pay 3.5k for it.

Easiest way to find out is do a search using the eBay app on your phone with a filter for Sold or Completed Items Only.

Don't let your education extend as far as actually watching the film. It's shîte.

I had guessed it would be. Still surprising that it was a licence though, there is nothing of the film or its "stars" on the game artwork really just drawings of a meteor, I guess you could argue that it had the leading role I suppose!

Creech is not a £3500 game unless some sort of high end restore :tut: I'd say the estimate above of £1800 to £2200 is about right although in the current market you might want to pay up to £2500 for a really nice one

I agree, it's not worth £3500. But, based on what I've seen them go for on eBay over the last 12 months I predict it will end up around £3500. It's £2500 now with 5 days left to run. The 'eBay value' was the original context of the statement. And to be honest I think even outside eBay those 1800-2200 estimates are low. Maybe 2 years ago.

Chris b sold one recently for 2500 that had no hologram.

Basically it's supply and demand. Plenty of them were made but they never come up as often as they should. But then again taf had the highest production run of the lot and look at what those fetch! .. and the game is only okay in my opinion.
"But it's a stone cold classic"

I'd say even in a pretty grim state with no hologram you're looking at no lower than 1800. A hologram will set you back 350 and they are all going to fade if they haven't already

You can't use eBay as a bench mark. It's a rough guide at absolute best. I've sold games on there for less than it ended at to avoid fees, as do most people. Most games are shilled up to a frenzy and reappear days/weeks/months later. Or some poor noob gets had.
CFTBL is at best £2500.
If someone is buying as a noob,as many are, as I did, eBay was the only place I thought of. When I found the ukpinball group later as a result of trying to find repair advice, I quickly realised I paid waaaaaaaay to much and could have saved a fortune on here. Ultimately selling at a loss.
There is a definite increase of people appearing on the forum who paid to much for their first machine on eBay and try and demand back what they paid. Which creates a culture of high prices.

I think the biggest problem comes when a nice example of a game fetches a high price, Joe bloggs pitches his average example at the same price, as that's obviously the going rate........ right?

There's the good old argument of supply and demand and it's worth what someone is willing to pay etc.. but I believe waiting for the right price pays off in the end.
there's also a lot of wheeling and dealing behind closed doors which don't even get advertised on here.
I have PM's from people calling dibs on every single one of my games (except Fishtales ) so when it comes to sell, they'll get a call and likewise I have dibs out left right and centre.

**** it pay what you like, it's your money. Just don't expect to see it back. I just like to see a hobby remain affordable which has already spiralled way out of control

Anyway I'm bored at work. Can you tell!!
