@PeteB the game actually looks an interesting title to me with some nice features But definitely not this incomplete and picked over example of it

I agree. I would love to take a wreck like this and fix it up to a high standard but with the way I do things and the amount of money required, time spent etc, it would have to be dirt cheap. Actually not even dirt cheap but just priced for what it is.

Love that era of games and never even played a Pharaoh before.

Pharaoh a great game. Couple of hundred max though in that state. Solar fire is eluding me . Having to hunt worldwide for that one.

...and now revised from £580 to £1,580. What an absolute tool!

just noticed but where have all the Bugs bunnys come from? anyone who does their homework will see my near mint one sold for £825 last year. it may be a licensed theme and relative rare but its relatively rare cos its not very good to play! infact one ball was enough to bore me lol

One of those I have played maybe once at a show. Would actually like to spend time on one [emoji3] as with all games I don't really know I suppose.

Probably trying to recoup restoration costs on his other PHARAOH. Like someone else mentioned, this one has probably been cherry-picked for all the best bits. So many unknowns (not that I'm afraid of that) but unless there's something super-exceptional this is just another junk project pin and therefore £200 max.

Shoot the birthday cake saucer, repeatedly to "blow out the candles", eventually it will random award you with 50million points, thus making going to any other shot completely pointless in comparison.
Hit that target for 100 points? No thankyou, I'll go for the stupid birthday cake

Walk away:rofl:

Viewed this tonight. Just in case anyone interested the moon magnet was not working in game, or in test mode. The rest seemed ok . Didn't investigate why, but know these can be problematic to fix. @Calimori wrestled with one for a while. Could be a fuse :D

Is he aware this might be worth mentioning in his listing?

Aww Luke dnt spoil the fun of it!!!!! Lol

Yeah! Everyone stop sh!tting on Bugs Bunny. Good game.

...and so is Popeye for the record!

The bloke told me that it was all working and once we had edtablished that the moon magnet wasn't working , I for one didn't want to try and tyre kick the machine so walked ....

There really is sweet FA on eBay at the moment in terms of decent pins.

Stop hoarding machines people!

@myPinballs did the hard work and realised there was a service release for A13. You fit a variable resistor on one board, then repair damage to three other components. Then you get the feeling the moon magnet is little more than a gimmick that does effect game play.
Dan's A13 has broke again and I will fix it before giving it back (or burning it).
13 ball multiball is still fun.

!

Just sent a question on ebay, asking if everything worked or there were any known problems.

He answered with
"
this machine is running 100%, i have only ever had to replace minimal bulbs and 1 fuse in the 3 years i have had it.
as you can see from the pics it is a very tidy pinball with great gameplay

"
Does look nice but might want to mention the magnets not working:mad:
Also the launch handle has been replaced with a button..

The seller is classic non pinhead. He genuinely knows nothing about the workings, he had no idea of the diagnostics, and I'm not entirely sure he believed me when I said magnet not working. Regarding the launch handle, again complete non pinhead had no idea the start button wasn't factory, didn't really know what we were on about, and doesn't care. And why would you really unless you are geek deep into pinball. [emoji3] And if you are you can see in the picture the handle is missing.

It's yr textbook eBay non pinhead sale. Expect issues and bid accordingly. Oh yeah, half backbox GI was out also, didn't even bother mentioning this as minor issue.

The problem with these ebay auctions, is that while we collectors can either fix things ourselves, or know the right people to use to get them fixed.

When Joe Public buys a pinball machine on ebay, and its got a problem with the magnet board and a GI string out, I know of at least 2-3 rouge pinball repairers, that would quite happily charge an unsuspecting victim £1K + to fix those couple of issues.

I've recently been made aware of a new person I had not hard of before that charged £1.2K to change some rubbers and capacitors it seems.

How do I get these jobs?

Not really any different though to possibly bein ripped off by garages, builders, plumbers etc etc . When you know Jack diddly about something you are always at the mercy of the rogues. Common sense and a little research usually helps though ;)

Heads up for anyone looking at those machines on MY PATCH ;)
the fireball and eight ball..
There is also a drac and a bk2000 which I am sure most have spotted , but after talking to the guy he is flabbergasted at how many offers emails watchers he has had, and already he has been offered £1800 for the bk and drac unseen and untested :hmm:
Can't even begin to bring myself to say what he would have taken for all six of the games as he though they were pretty much junk  Until the feeding frenzy began

Fair enough but if he's been told he should at least pass the info on

Of course he probably thought you were trying it on to get it cheaper....

That was the fear me and Ivan had as didn't want to appear to be tyre kicking it after I had agreed a price for it.
It's Matt Adams old one so it's nice playfield wise cab is a bit beaten up and looks like it has had water damage at some stage.
It's been a West Sussex flurry of games lately, Shame this wasn't seven year ago ;)

Has that exclusivity deal you had with eBay expired now Will? You know the one where you and only you get to see pin listings, and always get first offer rights. Damn the world, and damn other people [emoji6] So unfair [emoji38] 'Mummy,.....the big boys are taking my toys. Mummy? Mummy?? MUMMY!!!! Answer me !!!!'

Hahahahaha screeeeeeeeew you...... You were bitching just as much as me :)
And yes mummy has been informed :)

I actually lost interest in those others pretty quick anyway just the ball ache involved and actually having to spend more time with you Ivan as well ya grumpy f@ck would have been to much grief.
Still might make a play for the eight ball , like the look of it, obviously without battery damage would be better ;)
