The seller is well known and he does just buy then clean them up and sell them on, he does a good job though as in he knows what he is doing as far as repairing , I know he took mine and Ivan's frontier and sold it to the pinball parlour in ramsgate and they were happy with it.
I would lay money that he will have bk2000 , drac , eight ball, supersonic and fireball for sale in the next few months as well :)
As has been said twister is a £900 table but if it's the game you want then pay more as they don't come up that often

He's said he's done a fair bit to repair it and it now works perfectly. I don't think I'm going to get it for the £1000 I can afford.

But it is the game I want!

Seriously .... you play the pinball game, then at some point the Pac Man vid game is activated...hit certain stuff I think ...so you grab the joystick and play that for a bit, till you lose a life ???? ...then back to the pinball. I cant remember the finer details.

Baby PAC-man would make a nice addition to a large collection or if you have a small gap to fill or if you want a truly classic piece of lurid yellow retro.

But gameplay will be rubbish. Stand-up pinballs did not stand the test of time for a reason. Even as a kid back in the day, I found these games had limited appeal and I would suggest that this machine was only made because of the enormous brand strength of the PAC-man franchise

Just buying these old pieces of worn out crap will associate you with pinball Nirvana. Who cares if you do not know what you are buying or what you are paying. Or if the components are absolutely hammered, or already picked over by another buyer

That one has been cycling, the last attempt ending earlier today. I think it's more than a fuse, probably needs fish paper as well :)
 
Looks to me like shill bids, and its missing a few boards too.
 
Looking at the questions about it, the first query mentions 'sound & speech board' being missing. Apart from Flash not having speech, the early-type audio pcb may or may not be missing, since there's no picture showing the inside of the cabinet.

Yeah there is no way the price that ended up at was realistic.

It's very local to me, so I fancied a punt on it. But as the only board we can see in the backbox is the PSU, that's going to cost a few quid to put right.

I've have thought sub £300 at the very best, being in unknown state and missing at least 2 (maybe 3 ) boards
 
I wouldn't jump to conclusions about shill bids because the one thing I've noticed over the last few months is that all project machines on eBay are now selling for just under what they would in full working condition.

I've seen £800 games selling for near £700 completely broken, no glass or legs even. It's a very strange time in pinball.
 
Twister back on. Was pulled to replace an optic. I def can't go above 1k so am staying put at the moment keeping an eye out for a bargain JP or something else.
