Ebay Auctions 2015

I thought perhaps it was like selling a car where all you get is traders offering to advertise it elsewhere and wanting to avoid those calls as he's put his mob number in eBay

Hello,
The Medievil madness in the picture was sold to a buyer in Manchester.
The White water next to it is now in my games room. Bought the same day on the IOW and belonged to eclipse mullet and sold 02/09/14'.
Eclipse mullet is currently selling the Diamond Plate BOP and Tz which he had when I was there in September. He is an honest guy who had a large collection but had no interest in repairing pins...... So when they died he had to call on someone. The location not conducive to easy callouts.
So hope this helps in your pros n cons decisions. Eclipse mullet is not selling this MM but the photo is old n taken of his games room..... Check similarity

I've reported that MM, but the listing is still up. Needs more people to report it.

Not sure what he means by no Pinball Traders though!

Here is a rare photo of some Pinball Traders in action - I think here we see a consignment of playfields being transported. Exact destination is unknown but I suspect just west of Slough. These 'caravans' can consist of hundreds of camels and their trader masters, and many , many seriously overpriced pinball machines and parts.

Bw100 back on ebay. I offered the guy £500 if it didn't sell and he would of been quids in not having ebay fees but he ignored me. Sent same offer so we shall see.

With much regret, I must now part with my LotR table. I've listed it on eBay, starting at £2500.
Fantastic opportunity to own a very rare game. One of the best pinball games ever made. Also includes just about everything needed to fix and maintain the game.

This is a great pin to own (very deep ruleset) and is easy to fix and maintain, making it an ideal machine for a first-time owner. The game itself has been fully tested and is in complete working order.

Playfield is in very good condition. Cabinet has some slight scratches/ marks.

I strongly recommend arranging to view the article in the flesh (Bristol area). Buyer to arrange their own transport.

Refurbishments include:
  • New Driver board
  • New Ring magnet
  • Paths of the Dead and Gimli 'Cliffy' protectors
  • New Balrog microswitch
  • New figures
  • New Flipper mechanisms
  • New plunger and bushings
  • Mylar decals for the 4 drop-targets
  • New balls
  • Latest version display and game ROMs (10.0)
  • 'Arwen' plastic protector (Arwen plastic is undamaged)
Also included in this bid are many spares/ extras:
  • Spare Driver board
  • 3 (new) spare pop-bumpers
  • Spare pinballs
  • Heat-shrink piping in a variety of sizes
  • Two (new) spare flipper-coils
  • Play-field rubbers
  • Novus No. 1 cleaner
  • Spare bulbs (555, 44, 906 & 906 red)
  • Multimeter
  • Soldering kit
  • Spare playfield plastics ('thin' variety, *very* hard to find)
  • Copy of the 'Special When Lit' DVD pinball documentary
  • Sack truck for transporting the machine
  • Electrical tape and wire ties.
  • Spare playfield figures
  • 25-piece toolkit.

You could probably have sold it on here without all the hassle of ebay as there is a FOR SALE section, all you would have to do is name your price :)

Ah, my bad. I thought this part of the forum was for eBay listings...

It is! You had it right the first time. The For Sale section of the forum is for people who are selling games through the forum. If you are selling on Ebay then there is no point posting a for sale ad.

Hi @Ade. Sorry, @Fintan Stack is right! I misread your post as an advert for sale in itself, rather than notifying everyone of a sale on eBay.

You are of course more than welcome to list it on here and avoid the £250 eBay final value fee ;) but the rules are that you have to name a price.

I would consider this if I were you. There are a few people here with this title on their wishlist. Could end up saving both the buyer and seller a few quid.

I like the Fire 'Fixer Upper' for sale at the moment with two extra machines in the lot.
Interesting lot:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171673134658
Three pinball machines
Pinbot, fire and big guns
All original machines all in a fixer upper state
I bought these five years ago and have had them working to varying degrees of success but not being an electrical engineer nor having any spare time except at Christmas it is time to let these three machines go.
All will work eventually!
However if I had to rank them
Big guns is working @ 70%
Pin bot @ 50%
Fire @ 30%

All have original motherboards but all need a lot of care and attention

These are all classic machines and are ready for the right person to come and take them away and restore to their former glory.

So, sold as not working, you will need a transit sized van to collect, happy to help load but you will need to be strong!

£950 with 1 bid so far. PIN-BOT is a well-known classic but seems a bit steep for 3 non-workers?

Ah, my bad. I thought this part of the forum was for eBay listings...

Technically true, but its more "...to comment, discuss, warn and maybe even advise others on items on ebay" (as per @Paul 's original definition, which admittedly he hasn't copied across into the OP for the 2015 version of the thread), rather than being a place to copy and paste your ad in its entirety.

It'd probably be best to post in the "For Sale" section with a header tag of "Gone to eBay" if you want to make people aware of your eBay sale(s).

(edit: Which I see you've already done. I'll go sit quietly in the corner now...)

From the listing for the 3 pinball tables:

"The listing will run until the end in the true spirit of ebay.
Payment only by PayPal not cash"

Why no cash ??

Paypal is a serious NO NO on collections.....

My BW100 sold on eBay for £1200 in November 2013. It was fully working and clean but not restored or anything. I think £500 for what he's got a bit cheap as it looks fairly decent.

Either way, my feelings towards that game still haven't changed. I hate, hate, hate it. Worst pinball on the planet!
