Problem with the STTNG is it's ugly and heavy and the music gets on yer titties, otherwise it's a decent title, wasn't that long ago I purchased my 1st one for £600, what happened?

Hi Andy, when you get tired of the ugly heavy titty music thing let me know as always fancied one and will give you a bit of profit on your purchase price :D

Unfortunately I no longer have one and doubt I will ever own another now that the price has gone so far North, owned a few and they all played different, a nice playing STTNG is an addictive experience with great Ritchie flow.,

Well..... the first time it was up for bids with a start price of 725. The second time it's 795 or best offer.
Makes sense to me chaps. It's just a different approach as the first one didn't work out. He might take 600 for all you know.

That's been relisted a few times recently, I recognise the pics.

I'm unable to find any record of a BTTF selling for that price though. Highest I've seen is £2650 in the states and that was probably a top notch restoration.

Maybe, maybe not. New playfields for other games are usually what about £700? With shipping from the US make it over £1000?

Would be usable for someone doing a high end restore I guess, but I don't know how many people do that with R&B games.

Gottlieb 1982 Haunted House Pinball - 80s Collectors Quality near Mint condition http://r.ebay.com/Zeo0PE

Now £2,950 + £250 shipping! Previously listed £3,450 (Best Offer)
Lot of money yes, but HH is one of those titles that just sometimes someone will pay serious money for a very nice condition one. Just ask @SOUTH COAST SLAM [emoji6]

I was just commenting on another thread about the infamous "Over Bling" Yowzers! That is VERY shiny  The bit I'm struggling with the price. It's more than I paid for my most expensive pinball machine!

If that's more than you paid for your most expensive pinball machine can you let me in on where I can get my first:(:hmm:

I sure can! Right here on Pinball Info! But also check the Yahoo! Group "ukpinball". Generally avoid eBay - we al gossip on here about the rubbish and inflated prices over there.

It's all going to depend what you're after. Don't expect an Addams Family or Medieval Madness for £350. If that's your price range (it's mine!) then you're mostly looking at the older, lesser known, Bally's from the late 70s and early 80s. VECTOR and GOLD BALL would be perfect examples. Soon as you start hankering after the better known games, e.g., CENTAUR, FLASH GORDON, MEDUSA, etc., then you're getting closer to £500-600 and beyond. If you're after a DMD-era game (and this isn't my specialty) then you're probably looking at a minimum of £800-900 but probably more like £1,200+.

Also, it depends on your repair skills. If you know which end of a screw driver, spanner or soldering iron to hold, then you can save loads by going for something that needs lots of TLC. Two of my pins are projects and both were completely dead when I bought them. PARAGON, my first pin, was a non-worker when I got it. I've really enjoyed fixing up all my games (see my shop logs in the links below).

Yep generally avoid eBay. But just sometimes bargains can be had. My £200 WH20 springs to mind, have I ever mentioned that [emoji6] [emoji3]

Not this week, no. :p

Lets face it though, good deals are had off here (and probably the Yahoo group if you can stand the interface) a LOT more commonly than eBay.

Any idea what machines you are after ?

I have a few projects, some working some not that I could let you have for less than £1000, something like Hook would be under £500

£200 for your WH20 GrizZ - very gracious of you-I'll take that thank you very much. Cash on collection OK? [emoji2] [emoji2] [emoji2] on my way

Oh jeez give Manny a break. The bloke does top notch work.

That coin door might not be to everyone's taste but, ya know, these brain dead footballers and rappers with bling'd out pin collections might be into that.

And I admire Manny for trying to turn his hobby into something that pays the bills. The guy's got skills.

Yeah, he's certainly got skills having seen some of his work.

That coin door ain't to my taste but as Peter says there is probably a market for it so it's fair enough that he's put it out there.

No disrespect to his skills, that's for sure. Everything is turned out to perfection. I thought it was very canny of him to catch the action on the speaker upgrades and create his little drop-in spacer mod. Still doesn't stop me from being surprised at the £369 price tag on a coin door! But I'm notoriously cheap. Mainly because I haven't got that sort of cash to lavish on my hobby ;)
