I suspect it's genuine. Scammers generally offer machines at low prices. At over 7k it's not exactly a bargain is it?

I think the Fathom without pictures will be more of a shock. Marcus from Northampton sold a tidy RK for £550 only 4 months ago. The one I got local for £200 in January is a mess but you get what you pay for.
my guess on Fathom is £1200 . its at the top of the popular list when searching which gives an inkling

Didn't pay much less for mine about 4+ years ago in same condition, never said it was good

What's more....seller reckons fathom is in full working order!.....! Yeah right........
I'm surprised that people are bidding as high as they were (from the backbox photo alone) when the condition does not look great and the way it has ben presented now that the photos have been posted, makes it look like its just been stood on end for ages, and we inconvenienced the seller by asking for him to post more photos, so he has begrudgingly stuck it flat on the floor to take some pictures without powering it up. It was working in the photro, but as ebay strips out the exif data, we will never know when that photo was taken

The record for my last JM in 1998 is quite shocking. Bought from op £200 sold after 5 month via POA magazine £300.
