I don't understand why this game gets so much hate? I prefer this to other pins i've played that are rated much higher on ipdb. If this is the price they are going to be selling for then if definitely be interested in one. Especially with the mods Mypinballs is working on

It does have its fans. Unfortunately like many other games, the herd mentality kicks in on forums and the like and people who have never even played the game chime in with their opinion.

FTR I think it's a horrible game. And yes I have played it quite a bit :-)

I think a lot of it is because it's to easy I played one in the summer (not for the first time) and got 4 or 5 dif multi balls on the first ball

****ing hell that Stern went for a good price. I'd have paid £1600 without blinking. Not Sterns best game but I'm amazed it didn't hit the 2k mark. Must mean 24 is now a sub 1k game (as that really is a turd;))

Only 15 miles from me. Fancied giving one a go for a bit. Offered 1500 when actioned started and was told not to take the Mikey but after ebay fees that's very close to what it sold for!

I need that SPACE SHUTTLE. Damn and blast. It's a project SPACE SHUTTLE too :( But no money and more importantly, no space. Plus it would have to join the back of the queue behind BLACK HOLE and MR & MRS PAC-MAN ;)

I'm assuming @Replay your comment about the PARAGON was tinged with more than a little sarcasm? o_O That backglass is rather bubbly and the sin of all sins has been committed with the application of several patches of mylar. The artwork is also cracked. As for the rest... very faded cabinet, incorrect black trim on backbox, rusty legs, lift bar, top glass channel and grill, wrong drop target, missing WATERFALL plastic (£100 for replacement CPR set from MoP), acid damaged MPU has alternative NiCd battery, voltage regulator and sound module still running original capacitors... etc, etc. Whilst none of this is disastrous or particularly unexpected they're not the hallmarks of a £1,000 Bally solid-state pinball machine.

a nice road kings but a cynic would say . still a road kings though. I really enjoy the game and looking forward to finishing my 90% project. Best thing for me is the mix of old and new. first Williams game to feature full music but lots of classic Williams 80s arcade sounds.

That's a cracking restoration on that ROAD KINGS playfield! Why isn't it on here as a shop log?!?!?!?

Yes, it has a lot more music than High Speed & Grand Lizard, even an 'Intro Drums' for a ball on the shooter. The only Williams alpha-numeric with the displays in a traditional pattern rather than an 'information block', and was it the first game with the 'Time(d) Lock' multi-ball objective (putting both balls back in lock points accesses an enhanced scoring mode)?. This is also on a later Mark Ritchie game, Taxi.
