I would also say that this is the one that ended/disappeared off ebay in mid Feb and has been wiped with the proverbial oily rag and now flipped so more than likely the project one that you missed out on @kccoopa as you mentioned over on yahoo?

Yep, definitely this one (same wear pattern) http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=301531142284
Which was pulled and sold in a job lot.
He says it is all tested and works perfectly, just missing the fan topper.

Hi
I have bought a few things from this seller over the time he is very honest about what he sells always been spot on with description and great to deal with always got a cheaper price dealing with Marc direct.
Ok thanks I could do with one of these after a lesson learnt years ago about how not to clean the back of a translite

You can over pay for it now sure, but you'll kick yourself when the time comes to move it on and no one else will want to pay what you paid for it now. And if you can only limit yourself to one table, you'll be moving it on earlier than you think.

Thanks guys. I might see what deal he'll do. (That and I can't afford anywhere near the asking price anyway!)

The seller is well known and he does just buy then clean them up and sell them on, he does a good job though as in he knows what he is doing as far as repairing , I know he took mine and Ivan's frontier and sold it to the pinball parlour in ramsgate and they were happy with it.
I would lay money that he will have bk2000 , drac , eight ball, supersonic and fireball for sale in the next few months as well :)
As has been said twister is a £900 table but if it's the game you want then pay more as they don't come up that often

I kind of agree. If it's a game you really want then dont get too hung up on the money. Pinball is a fun hobby, take on board what people say regarding prices but worrying too much about the resell value is a sure way of spoiling some of the pleasure of ownership.

I probably overpaid for my first machine, The Who's Tommy. Though by luck I did get a very nice one. At the time it was the game I dearly wanted, I had fond memories of playing it 10 years earlier [emoji3] I don't regret for one minute the money I spent on it. Still have it, and it was the gateway into the pin scene for me.

If it was a really nice one I would agree but the guy has already said he hasn't got loads of money and this isn't a particularly nice.

At tend of day do what you wanna do, go with your gut or with your heart :)

Spending other peoples money is great :) and spending your own money is great as well but have trouble convincing er indoors that it is great as well!! :)

In a matter of hours the non working WH20 has already broken the grand barrier...... where will it end up? My guess is £1500 ish. How much is a working one nowadays?

For a while I thought prices were calming down but maybe I was wrong.

On a more positive note Spider Men seem to be coming down, when I was looking for one 2 years ago they were touching the 3k mark. Anything else starting to become more affordable? SSTNG? RFM seems to have dropped to around £1200 again.

It's not even a nice example, badly faded, needs a really good clean and polish, looks filthy inside coindoor, legs rusted and that's without even taking the glass off (boulder looks undamaged though which is unusual) price will reflect supply and demand, big demand, no supply, WH20 is the one game I paid way over the odds for when I was desperate to acquire, (No 2) which was actually a big number two :D from A1 slots (sold for a substantial 25% loss to group member who made it good) NO3 is here and is going nowhere, probably in my top 3 favourite pins, just good clean fun from when you hit the start button.

Anyone know the history of this AFM (just locked it down) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Attack-from-Mars-Pinball-Machine-Restored-Mint-Condition-/121587759702?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=JKktGSNRRzyogeCxTgwR%2B0SZcbU%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

It was up on ebay last year (maybe that Griffiths guy with the wooden shack? maybe not) apparently a PH mint refurb, seem to remember that the Griffiths one had a defect on the cab art? (know he sold a couple) also has Cliffys over hole, does Phil fit a Cliffys as std on a refurb? cheers for any info.

Had this exact conversation only yesterday. It says a lot about the current market when broken, piece of junk pins are selling at almost their full value. 2-3 years ago I had bought projects for like £200 - £300. Not a chance in hell of doing that now.

Problem is that unless they're are absolute minters, the prices of average condition games hasn't really gone up. So saving a pin and spending £500 - £800 on a set of new boards plus whatever is wrong with a playfield is senseless. Just a buy a working one.

Offered £3600 a couple of times but won't bite, think that's all a Tron Pro is worth, peachy Spiderman's only make £3200 these days and by all accounts a better game.
