The "Today I received" Thread

Thanks @Jon Fletcher for selling @Kelauce your Twilight Zone! It’s lovely (and thanks @Mrbroadside for helping transport and lift it).

After printing some insert cards today, I’ve learnt that if you pop them as an 8.5x15cm image on a 10x15cm size canvas then take to a local photo kiosk and print as an 6x4 photo then you should get a perfect size after cropping any white! Made these ones slightly too small before so will try again as mentioned which should work well :D

Well today I received my first EM machine. A Segasa Baby Doll. Ebay purchase. Mainly working, with some known issues like a sticking flipper and needs maintenance. It is a little dream come true to have an EM machine to fix up. I'm gonna needs some help........ Start a new thread methinks.

This last pic sums up the level of maintenance it's received in the past:

Yep - that's a dirty great bent nail. It gets worse, one of the flippers is sticking, a quick look shows me it's got a linkage made out of plastic instead of metal and its not even been cut to the right shape or size. Oh well, they will be fairly easy fixes I hope.... also noticed 2 loose wires in the back box - the 10's unit scoring reel won't function cos the coil is missing! Again should be an easy fix.

I want to get cracking tonight, but been invited over the my girlfriends for mi dinner, so better not be late!

if you do need anything though - email Cliff direct. Hes hugely busy and there is a lead time but hes very reliable in my experience.

Does that Dark Shadow run on a 6803 or standard Bally mpu?
