Ebay Auctions 2018

That one, probably £1200-1300. The clue and equipment inserts have been heavily touched up but you would need to see it working. I can never work out sellers that list stuff switched off!

I reckon its gotta be 1500+ these days - not many Bally Williams DMDs now going below that. Mental I know but .....it is what it is :D

Not personally .....but they have had a very poor reputation over the years.

Correct, proceed with caution is what I would say and go view anything you are buying if you can. Probably one of the reasons for different eBay id's

Yep sold for 450 BIN on Sunday night. Looked pretty rough tbh..... cab battered, displays out, lot of lights out, inserts all worn .....usual tired old beater that needs some major tlc.

This tomcat is in my workshop having been delivered here by the buyer. I’ve looked at it and quoted for a basic refurb but he’s thinking he might break it for spares or resell as a project. If anyone’s interested in either, I can put you in contact.
In brief
CPU NOT acid damaged but needs a switch problem repaired.
Sound working
PSU has hv out, but display is shot so LED replacement required. (£160)
Playfield ok, mylared and inserts intact.
Needs complete rerubbering and clean up
Needs flipper rebuild.
Beacon motor works but new belts needed.
Other bits and pieces needed but that’s the main stuff.
Cabinet needs repainting on the front. Body sides reasonable. Top left a bit battered. Top right flaky.
If you’re prepared to spend £250 on Parts, and can take on the repairs then could be a rewarding project.

Does this TAF belong to anybody on here ?

Looks pretty clean from what I can see, I am the high bidder.

Careful!

Can't find it now, but there was some discussion on Facebook about it being a fake listing. The guy who owned the machine (and whose photos were used) said he was going to report it to ebay, but ... ebay are useless.

(Pretty sure it was this one, but they've removed the link on the FB post: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1434815296767544/permalink/1998706513711750/ )

That's quite a catch. Must remember in future, bid first....ask questions later.
