It’s exclusive for sure. Not many will make it to the uk. Looks a good shooter. I’m not in those echelons. But if I could I would!

At least Neil will have one or maybe two ;-)

Keep one NIB!

I'm not convinced these things will drop in value over time.

Maybe a bit of panic currently with distibuters who have the odd NIB they've comitted to.

But . . . .once they're all sold I think they'll be considered decent collectors items and at least hold their value.

the problem is that the normal pinball distribution doesn't have the right channel to market these. I hear only 4 are making it to the UK.

I tried to buy another one at 18K in the US and got told no bueno...

Neil.

This one was being discussed in the threads last night looks like someone bit at 18.5 was it you Neil?

nope - I gave up trying to find another one cheaper after so many fake leads.

what I'm looking forward to is co-op games - Mark explained how co-op works in the game later in the broadcast.

You can use the flipper buttons once you're in the menu. Not a fix I know but a stop gap.

Pinside has this fix however:
Three screws (ground strap, and two tiny black metal screws).

Take the unit off, unplug. (Plug is on tighter than you think, but it pulls off).

Use two small flatblade screwdrivers on the clips of the back side, gently pry the green circuit board up a little without deforming the black plastic clips.

Lift the green circuit board up a tiny bit at the connector end by prying with one of your screwdrivers, then insert your screwdriver to the side of the wedge at the end furthest from the connector. Pry the whole circuit board forward until the end clears the black wedge ramp at the end of the circuit board.

Continue to gently work the circuit board upward over the various black plastic clips with the screwdrivers and you'll get the green circuit board out.

Then the four buttons (Green, Red, Red, Black) will fall onto the floor. Pick them up. Hehe.

The circuit board has a translucent button rubber on top of it, gently pull this off, pulling the tiny pegs of translucent rubber out of the circuit board.

Clean the circuit board metal contacts that were under the buttons with 99% alcohol. Don't leave any lint or residue on the circuit board when you are done wiping it off.

Place the translucent button rubber piece back on the board, aligning the tiny rubber pegs. One by one, gently pull the pegs through the board until it the translucent button rubber rests flat on the circuit board.

I plugged the board back into the game at this point, and was amazed at how well the translucent button and green circuit board worked. I didn't have to clean the black surface of the inside of the translucent button cover with alcohol, but if you didn't get good results, now is a good time to pull it apart and clean the circuit board and maybe the black pads again with 99% alcohol.

After verifying that the button circuit board was working perfectly, I unplugged it from the pinball, and it was just a matter of loading the colored plastic buttons (Green, Red, Red, Black) back in the holder and popping the circuit board into the holder.

Plug the button unit back in. Put the assembled button unit back on the front door with the screws.

You now have perfectly working buttons.

F that. I am not levering and prying at a new 8k machine. I understand a bad batch making it out on gz but they knew and still used the same sh1t.
No i don't blame you. Best off using the flipper buttons for now...

Can’t see Foo Fighters being a big hit in March maybe they can produce some decent service buttons and coil stops to keep the line busy lol.

I think the real issue will be in about a year's time when all the substandard electronical parts start to fail due to the supply issues from China.

I can see foo fighters being bigger than rush tho!
Yes - masses of appeal at the moment for FF - always happens when someone passes away in the band. All the material goes up in value and the 'fans' come out the woodwork.
Hopefully the art work will be better than Rush, which is not hard really. Was it the same artist that did Queen?

Zombie Yeti is on the art so it should at least look good.

Stern need to come out with a winner at reasonable prices or it'll see people gravitate towards Scooby if Spooky get their act together. Can't see Foo Fighters being up to the challenge of taking on Mystery Inc.

It could actually come down to which title do Stern decide to throw under the bus given the current competition.
