I am surprised Japan even qualified for the World Cup but I will be getting behind my team and cheering them on. Just need to do some research and try to learn the players names in the few games they will play before going home a bunch of losers.

I went to a gig last night (The Wedding Present were playing in Aldershot) and beforehand we had a few jars in a pub round the corner. The pub was very "footy" with big England flags and big TVs. There was a poster on the wall with all the teams and groups, so my mate gave me a crash course the World Cup and who the best teams were.

I didn't notice South Korea. Do they even play football?
