Can anyone with a Turtles LE/Prem tell me if these pro version slings are the same or not.

Oh and BTW im loving the game even though im on the honeymoon period. Fast and furious and not the easiest of Combos but WOW my type of gravy.
Also the co-op play is something that definately need to be adopted to other pins its amazing for this family as we big fan of the theme and all have our fav Turtle.

I was wondering how people were doing with this game. I half fancy getting one
Honest m8 I was initially put off the game after watching the stream I don’t think stern gave it justice and it all got a little confusing with all these rules trying to be explained whilst chucking the ball around. Both that and AIQ landing shortly after made me sit back and let the pindust settle.
Then the usual pinside naysayers kinda threw it in the bottom of the pile as AIQ was made out to be the 2nd coming.
I am glad I waited and I am glad I opted for turtles as it’s theme wins out over Avengers where it’s the opposite for most.
The co-op is awesome and it’s lightening fast which keeps you on your toes and the pro doesn’t really suffer much unlike AIQ and all it’s associated problems they cause.
I love the art, call outs the curveball left upper flipper and also the tricky lair shot I’m starting to finally dial in.
In a nutshell It’s a big thumbs up from me and won’t be going anywhere soon

I can't speak about Turtles because I've not played it but I think the same happened to Elvira & Stranger Things which were sort of forgotten amongst the adulation for Elwins JP.

JP was so good it took all of the attention but perhaps the other two were slow burners and now people are starting to appreciate how good they are (myself included).

It’s great to know you’re lovin’ the call outs! I’m the voice of Splinter, Bebop, Rocksteady, Baxter, Baxter Fly and Casey Jones in the game. I also love the Pro. It’s my favourite art package. Plus with Pro; you get to see more of Zombie Yeti’s awesome art in the upper part of the pro playfield, around the 2x target area. Cowabunga Colywobbles!! 🍕🐢👍🏼

Turtles is brutal - I’d say it’s a flawed diamond needs you to dig deep to get to the goodness of the game but it’s there.

I noticed this when I popped in Smyths today it’s only letdown is the 2 buttons per player so you would have to sort the CP out.
I think the better deal is the MK 1up at Costco for 300 you get the stool, riser with matching art and lighted Marquee these are normally extras but Costco got an exclusive.
I got Gabe one for Xmas, honest it’s not for me and neither is his PS5 I was thoroughly testing out today while he was at school. Dam Demon Souls is good.

LE/PREMIUM V1.40 - December 22, 2020
====================================
Fixed:
- Fixed BATTLE AGAIN carrying over from one game to the next. It will reset at
the start of the game and carry over from ball to ball.
- The values of Mondo Jackpot and Super Jackpot during TURTLE POWER MULTIBALL
were not displayed correctly in the background display effect.
- Only one ball search would occur before the game would consider
ball lost and move you to the next ball. This has been fixed; there will be
5 searches before the game considers the ball lost.

New:
- Added an HALF SHELL CHALLENGE Game Play Mode:
- To access, hold in both flipper buttons to enter the game mode selection
menu and then pan over to the HALF SHELL CHALLENGE menu screen.
- The text on the HALF SHELL CHALLENGE menu screen will be greyed out if
the mode has not been unlocked.
- Start a game as all four turtles to unlock.
- The four turtle lights on the front of the topper keeps track of your
progress towards unlocking HALF SHELL CHALLENGE.
- Once unlocked, the HALF SHELL CHALLENGE menu screen text will be colored
and you can press the start button to start HALF SHELL CHALLENGE.
- HALF SHELL CHALLENGE is a game play mode where you play as each of the
four turtles, one at a time. Each turtle is racing back to their Lair.
- There is a timer for each leg and a total time on the display keeping
track of your current time for that leg of the race.
- Each leg of the race has three blinking shots in the current turtle's
color. Complete all three of those shots to advance to the final
shot state. Then make one of the turtle shots to finish that leg of the
race, lock in your time for that leg, and advance to the next turtle.
- During each leg there are also 3 solid green shots lit. Making two of
those shots will complete 1 of the 3 blinking shots. Once two green
shots are completed, all green shots are removed and two more solid
green shots appear.
- Completing the last leg of the race completes the mode and displays
the total screen. The total screen shows your total race time, your
race time for each leg of the race, your total points, and your
points awarded for your completion time for each leg of the race.
- The ball will continously return to the shooter as long as the mode is
running.
- In addition to the leg timers there is an overall mode timer. This
timmer starts at 50 seconds and is reset each time you progress the
mode. If this timer runs out the mode will end.
- Once the mode is complete, the unlock progress is cleared and the mode
needs to be unlocked to play again.
- Added an "ALLOW HALF SHELL CHALLENGE" adjustment
- NEVER - The mode is never available.
- QUALIFIED - (Default) Requires the mode to be unlocked for each play by
playing one game as each of the four turtles.
- ALWAYS - The mode does not need to be unlocked and is always
available.
- Added an HALF SHELL CHALLENGE Champion. The lowest total time will be the
new Champion.
- Added "HALF SHELL CHALLENGE CHAMPION" adjustment. Changes the default
time for HALF SHELL CHALLENGE Champion
- You can see the current champion in the attract mode and in Instant Info.
- All 5 of the champions times are saved and displayed.
- Added HALF SHELL CHALLENGE to the default game mode adjustment.
- Added new DJ Mixer tunes and playlist from HALF SHELL CHALLENGE
- Added the adjustment ALLOW HALF SHELL CHALLENGE to the HOME and DIRECTOR
installs. The installs will change the adjustment to ALWAYS.

Tweaked:
- Starting Pizza Party at the end of TEAM-UP will now add a new ball into
play and start a short ball saver.
- Tweaked the values of the adjustment SHAKER MOTOR. LONG USE, MODERATE USE,
and MINIMAL USE now reduce the shaker motor timing more than before.
- Lowered the minimum TROUGH EJECT POWER to 150. This was already on
the PRO.
- Moved changing your next Episode from the 2X target to the Dimension X
targets. They no longer change randomly. The right target moves your next
episode to the NEXT possible episode for you. The left target moves to the
PREVIOUS available episode.

Moved to system 2.66 -
- Updated to nodeboard firmware v0.65.0

- When starting a game ramp the backbox GI from
"ATTRACT MODE B.BOX BRIGHTNESS" to "GAME PLAY B.BOX BRIGHTNESS".
- When ending a game ramp the backbox GI from "GAME PLAY B.BOX BRIGHTNESS" to
"ATTRACT MODE B.BOX BRIGHTNESS".

All being well I'll have a Turtles arriving when Martin can make it. What are owner's thoughts on the different code options? There seem to be 3:

1. Stern's code
2. Stern's code with 1987 cartoon video (but still using Stern's music and callouts)
3. Stern's code with, and I quote "Original theme AND video from 1987, TMNT original movie and TMNT arcades (1 and 2). Even has Vanilla Ice go ninja for ninja mb AND replaced April model with the old school (TMNT and cartoon)"

*Don't let Vanilla Ice sway your judgement.

I will of course be giving Stern's original code a good play but those CG animations don't look great to my eyes from what I've seen.

The good thing is you can stick each code on a different SD card and switch between them to see which you prefer.

Personally. I'd go full Vanilla Ice mode. Funny thing about that whole scene in Secret of the Ooze is even as a kid I was like wtf!

If you want to go full Vanilla Ice you need to watch Cool As Ice.

Ok my take!

I have a pro and it came with less than a 100 games fully loaded with almost every mod possible inc a nice sparkle armour makeover and the cartoon code!

I played it a couple of dozen games and a mate who was a big TMNT fan absolutely loved the home brew code. However I was the total opposite after trying the Stern code and never looked back.
This may sound like I’ve butchered the game and sold out but TBH Inlike the cell shade esk artwork style and the fact I’ve already had a few official stern updates already.
I may revisit the classic code some point but I love the game as it is so I’m just enjoying it.
Whatever you decide to do is not wrong in my eyes it’s just more a personal choice thing.
Either way it’s a fun underrated title that was sadly overshadowed by AIQ and unjustly so IMHO.

Is it just these 3 screws that need removing to remove/rotate the van?

View attachment 139477
To answer my own question, there were a few other screws to remove to get the van off. Nothing too difficult so long as you don't drop the screws/nuts/washers in the cabinet (which I did), and thanks to Col's Turtle Van Bracket™ it made the job easier.

Looks good facing forward.

Like Stranger Things and others before it, Turtles seems to be having its time in the sun. When I bought it 3 months ago it had been up for sale for a couple of weeks before I bought it. When I put it up for sale for the same price I could have sold it to 5 different people within a few hours, and I can see there has been some more interest in it since Pinfest.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. I'd like to give it a couple of hours in a home environment but it seems like a decent game to me.

LE/PREMIUM V1.50 - NOVEMBER 17, 2021

- Plunging and holding the left flipper as Donatello on the first ball will
now not bring up the post and allow the ball to go all the way around.
- Fixed getting an extra ball from pizza slices during Ninja Pizza Multiball
- When loading the van, the TROUGH EJECT POWER adjustment was being ignored
and the coil was firing at full strength.
- Fixed the instructions during TEAM-UP after you have rescued all 3 and you
need to shoot the right ramp to DEFEAT SHREDDER.

NEW:
- Added Total page for the end of Nuetrino Party.
- Added BALL SAVE to Neutrinos Party.
- Added Completing Team-Up now spots one prerequisite for Cowabunga. They are
spotted in order to give the first that is not already complete.
- Max Krang
- Jackpot Grande

- Weapon Complete
- 5 April Hurry Ups
- Foot 1 2 3
- Choosing MICHELANGELO will give you 5 slices of pizza at the start of the
game.

CONNECTIVITY
- Added Connectivity Ready -
- The game can have a connectivity kit installed and be connected to
STERN INSIDER CONNECTED.
- Once connected you can log in and start earning Achievements.
- To login in hold your QR code over the scanner. When you see you are
log in just push start. By default, the game will automatically start
the game for everyone that is logged in with one button press.

- Before you press start, while the login screen is up, the current player
can use the flipper buttons to move which player position that will be.

- After the game, by default, players will have a few seconds to press
start and all stay logged in. The game will start all games with one
press of the start button.

- Added Achievements -
- There are 77 achievements you can now earn if you are logged in.
- Achievements will pop up after you have received them as soon as they
can. Also, they are seen at the start of end of ball bonus if you
received any that ball.
- You can see all the achievements and how they are earned in instant
info or on the web site insider.sternpinball.com

- Your name will displace PLAYER # in the main score frame.

- If you are logged in your high score entry will default to your initials.
You will still be able to change them.

will be persistent.
- Each time you play you will be able to start the game with any turtle
at the last level you trained up to.
- If you are logged in, before starting the game, you can access the
GAME PLAY MENU by holding in both flippers.
- There is a new item in the menu: TRAINING RESET. If you choose
this from the menu you will reset your training back to level 1
for all your turtles.
- Your training levels will be 1 during competition play.

TWEAKED:
- Made "coin door ball saver" and "coin door disables tilt" adjustments
available
- Added Starting points for Nuetrinos Party.
- The top post will not come due to a right orbit shot during Training

- Selecting a Turtle at the start of the game will trigger the release of
the flipper button instead of the press. This lets you hold the left flipper
while you plunge and it will not change the Turtle you chose.
- Added a score award for starting Nuetrinos Pizza Party
- Reduced the scoring of Ninja Frenzy during Ninja Pizza Party.
- Fixed spelling error in a DJ Mixer tune title.
- Foot 123 will no longer stop Training from being start-able. If you start

AD_NET_PLAY_AGAIN_TIMER - "INSIDER PLAY AGAIN TIMER" default 20 sec

- GAME RESTART (hold start button) behavior change:
Holding the start button on ball 2 or greater will follow the
logic of the AD_START_BUTTON_BEHAVIOR adjustment.
If (AD_GAME_RESTART == YES) and (AD_START_BUTTON_BEHAVIOR ==
ADV_START_BUTTON_BEHAVIOR_ALL_LOGGED_IN) holding the start button on
ball 2 or greater will restart the game for as many
players as is necessary to accommodate the users that are logged in.
If there are not enough credits to restart the game for the necessary
number of players, the game will not be restarted.

- Address Insider Connected game registration corner cases.

- Upon entering the Service Menu for the first time after a software update, a
screen will display the game and system version numbers. This screen will
be displayed for a minimum of 1 second, and is dismissed by the enter
button. This replaces the dots display previous shown at power on after
an update.

- Login changes:
* When a user logs in during a game in progress and the player up slot
is occupied, assign the user in the first open slot from lowest
player to the highest player.

I'm absolutely LOVING my Turtles - even though it's hard and feels quite frustrating sometimes (it's such a fast game!), I haven't found it makes me feel disheartened/fed up like Fish Tales does. Even if sometimes you feel like you've been playing FOREVER and you've done loads of great shots, then you look at your score and it's about 100,000...! The pizza multi ball always puts a smile on my face too (and I love seeing the excitement on someone's face when they get it for the first time!).

I also love that it has a co-op and teams mode - we've played that a lot, it makes for a much happier household between @David_Vi and I ;-) and the 2v2 teams are so much fun when we've had friends over!

We've added the cartoon mod which is great and has been a big hit with our friends :)

Agree - it's a really fun pinball for all the reasons you have described! Nice to be able to play together and cheer each other on. How far have you and David got in the co-op mode?

Fish Tales hate.🐠😑

I don't recall the score but its not amazing. We did a four player co-op with our alter egos also🤣

What I find is we're all inconsistent players, so even in a four player co-op you can crash and burn due to a few bad balls. It's so fun though!
