The Mandalorian Pinball

1977 it was great.
1980 it was good.
1983 not bad - apart from the baby bungles
After that
PANTS!
After the KK sequel trilogy I like the prequels a lot more than I did before.

Mando brought me back to Star Wars after Disney well and killed my love for the franchise,

What happened to Bond and Godzilla? Or is that JJP?
Couldn't think of a better time for a Godzilla pin with the latest film being out

Godzilla is still the most rumoured, pretty sure Mando came from Pinside.

Give me a mortal kombat pin, similar code set up to Deadpool but with a tonne of over the top gore and fatalities built into the game, new movie looks fantastic, but then again I grew up on MK as a kid.

Ermmmm....where can I acquire the 4K77 and 4K83 versions?

I have the Adywan ESB version.

I'm not a huge Star Wars fan by any means, but I'm aware that there are new edits referred to as D+77 / D+80 / OTD83 available in 2160p that are recommended if you want the blu-ray equivalent of the original theatricals at home. 4K77 and 4K83 are meant to capture the cinema experience, film grain and dirt included. Depends on what you're after. Again, not a fan so I'm sure someone will correct me, just repeating what Star Wars fans I know have said.

I'd buy a Mortal Kombat pin day one. It would work so well. Can't see that level of gore though in a pinball? I guess TWD is pretty grimey.

You can get DNR (digital noise reduction) versions or the untouched grain versions. I love them both and to me they're the only way to watch them these days. I have the official 4k Ultra HD releases and they just gather dust!

Again I have to qualify this with the fact I’m not a huge Star Wars fan by any means, but my understanding is that the edits I mentioned rely upon the 2160p UHD BluRay versions for scenes that were unchanged, and uses the DNR 4K version for the changed scenes.

I’m only going on what I’ve been told, but I gather that the 4K versions are the closest thing available to the original cinema experience, and the D+ versions are the closest thing available to a 4K Blu-ray of the original unchanged trilogy.

Either way, if anyone wants either version shoot me a PM and I’m sure I can get them from a friend. They’ll be massive files though.

Yeah I've had the despecialised version for ages and its good - the laserdisc version is hindered by the format the LD outputs but the sound is second to none.

Wait a minute, that doesn’t seem like Bond! Someone in the know keeps saying it’ll be Bond next

Yes it is. It’s very good although I do wish his arms moved (yes seen the mods but don’t want to mess it up!).

😅 looks like its def gonna be silly Mandy...
Would rather have a Delorean theme by a country mile........ 🤦‍♂️

According to MNpinball it looks like no Bond or BTTF this year.

Mando - Eddy
Godzilla - Elwin
Rush? - Borg & Lyman

I hope this is correct (I did post about a Mandalorian Pinball a few months back and was shot down!), as this will be a must buy for me!

Ironically thats what I thought everyone was talking about last year when I thought they said ‘have you seen the man delorean ?’
thought it was a documentary or reanactment of the John Delorean story 🥸

Its like the franchise have got together and thought what are two characters all Star Wars fans resonate towards.
- Boba Fett
- Yoda
So they have created this spin off.
Now Stern want to suckle on the milking cash teat.
I really hope they make a Star Wars Special Edition next
Ja Jar Binks plastered on one side of the cab
Toddler Anakin on his racer on the other

Lol......

John mate you nailed this. Neil has been giving it the biggun for yonks about Bond. You're one and one for in the know pinball predictions

True! But bond is coming lol

I actually had an argument with Kaneda about mandalorian about a year ago!

Anyway we have to be certain it is mando first!

Haha I'm well up for Bond if done well. There's so much potential there. Feel like we might get modern Bond which wouldn't be ideal but I'm still game I reckon
