Funds required so something has got to go!

Recent house refurb and pending new (old) car, means I’m looking to raise some funds, so next in the offering is my SW seawitch, Extremely poor on photos as i havent got any!, it’s a project, i havent had time to look at it! when i bought it,it was sold with "it needs new solenoids????

It’s currently buried in the garage.

So what does anyone think its worth? probably more of a range on this one.

Pictures of flyer included just to comfirm the game. Beatles......

they do look lovely and very rarely come up? in the briefest of look overs a while ago from memory cab looked good, minimal marks etc, back glass looked good, playfield although dirty (not worse i’ve Seen by a long shot) didn’t look worn!
Probably not that much of a help, i’d Like to keep this but, funds are required so something has got to go!

Thanks Tony

@Tony

I sold a lovely full working Seawitch a few years ago for £1500. It went to an avid classic Stern collector in Denmark. I do think that was top dollar though , but shows there is demand for a classic like this. Possibly more so now with The Beatles drawing attention back to it.

I think your backglass is looking a bit faded, but in good shape. And obviously it needs other work, cleaning up etc. Playfield does look good though, cab looks pretty good. Certainly potential for a very nice Seawitch there.

I think both Earth shaker and Dr who's are about 1700quid for good nick ones.
So I would think about 1k for both. The head being of es will put off any newbies unfortunately.

Hello, can a kind person please let me know how much a Last Action Hero goes for nowadays? Not looking for a showroom class one, just a solid dependable worker. Its one of my favourite movies and would love to get one someday.

Also, would it be worth more/less/about the same as a Sega Star Wars pinball?

Finally (Sorry for all the questions) - Are they known as a solid machine? or is there any known problems with them that I should look out for?

Many thanks

Not much love for LAH. I’d imagine a decent one should still be under £1500

Very similar to JP but not as fun

I think the magnets can play up

After I sold mine I never had a hankering for another one.

Yeah £1500 should snag one. Data East fun. I wouldn’t worry too much about reliability etc.. if it breaks we can help fix it. And it’s a pinball machine, so the odd fix is inevitable

Hi I've just set up a 1995 Williams jack bot pintable table I'd got in storage. Its fully working in good condition. Any idea how much if I sell it?

Hi. I can see you are new on here, so apologies if you know all this stuff ....

If out of storage, replace the three batteries in the backbox as leakage could ruin the mpu board and be very costly

I am not seeking to diss your game, but Jackbot is not a fancied title. About 1500 would be my guess for a nice working game with no significant issues. Start deducting money down to 1200 if it all basically works but the playfield is worn, plastics are broken, cab art is faded etc

There is a Johnny Mnemonic on here that is unsold at 1900. JM is a much more popular title than Jackbot. A Demo Man is unsold at 1600 and I would suggest that Jackbot is less valuable than this title too.

If it were an Addams Family it would be more like 5 grand.

To sell it on here you would really need to post high res pics so folk can see the condition of all the playfield, all the external artwork, underside of the playfield, state of the boards in the backbox ....

Excellent information thanks. Yeah I know Jack bot not the most popular as only just over 2200 units ever produced. I'm definitely going to be replacing the battery's. Thanks again.

Thanks for the information regarding the NVRAM. I just checked and the battery had leaked! fortunately they were mounted on a separate board so no damage to pcb.. I've cleaned up an replaced with ones marked with a 2028 expiry for the time being. Excellent information so glad I checked. Yeah could be a disaster if left to eat through circuits. I've got other tables in storage so will be checking those ASAP.

More than a Tomcat, less than an ES would be my guess

1200 for a skanky player, 1500 for a clean, manicured, fully working one ?

Not seen one sold in a while

I think with games like SOF , it is about finding that one nerd who really wants it. To a general punter it's just a mid ranking system 11.

But it looks like 3 years since one last sold on here.

The Lionman callout stopped me fancying one. Otherwise I would have liked one of these. I would have paid 200 over what an average System 11 is "worth" to get one as the alternative is ..... wait 3 years?

More tables, intriguing 😁 what have you got and will you be selling any others?

I've had 2 here in the past. This would be a 3rd. I love it BUT the big flaw with the game is the ease of starting multiball - you can just lock, lock and off you go repeatedly. Knowing how you were so offended at ES endless ramp shot [emoji6], I'm not sure how you would get on with it.

I reckon you could argue that System11 games are worth more than low level dmd games nowadays due to how little they come up for sale. Seems people are less bothered with entry level dmds and are jumping straight to cheaper Sterns like Avatar.
Two words which would always make me pick an alpha numeric over a dmd game. Video mode!! 😒

I'm not sure on that - very different beasts. Personally I love Sys 11s but I do get tired of them quicker. In my small collection I'm happy to have 1 or 2 for variety but there is just much more depth/stuff to do even on lower rated DMD titles.
