That pretty much was my guess, £2,250 > £3,000. Not sure if there would be any takers here but eBay, probably.
 
Yeah 2.5k to 3k in todays world, been keeping an eye out for a nice one for a while as fancied revisting, last one i owned was about 15yrs ago 😆 surprisingly enjoyed it again after playing Steve's at electric circus the other week!
 
I went to a local arcade today really enjoyed playing Dirty Harry, Elvis was cool to never played either in all my years of collecting! Also they had a DeBm my guilty pleasure next to Rc! The Pf was very nice on it wanted to take it home 😆 guessing Dirty Harry must be a 3k plus easy nowadays?

Agree . With current demand and pins in short supply if that is tidy and working could easily see 3.
Hardcore pinheads may not care for it , I actually quite enjoy it when I’ve played it - more than Stern Star Wars 😂 , but more casual owners love good theme for home game rooms etc
 
logic thinking. your not really a massive pinball fan but you and your mates (and probably your kids too) like Star Wars. For 3 grand you can have a fantastic peice of hands on retro in your man cave. there may be a 1000 better games but is there a better theme? Or stronger license?

Yup i reckon your right, i’d have bought it from him but i have no space.
 
T2 valuation. Stood in a dry workshop for 10 yrs. Batts removed prior to storing. Needs new rubbers and has not been switched on so could be faults. Needs a good clean as well.
What do I offer the guy that’s fair to both of us.
 
I would say a lot depends on the condition of the playfield and boards. Have the batteries been removed? If not, allow for a new mpu. If the playfield is wrecked then that's gonna change the value a lot. 1-2.5k depending on the answers to those questions.
 
Similar condition to the STTNG I got a year or so ago.
Dirty, needed new rubbers, playfield nice couple of seized mechs. However batteries had leaked. Paid £1200 which I thought fair.
 
I’ll try and get a look at the playfield. Batteries removed when he stored it.
I don’t want it ending up on eBay where some entrepreneur wipes it over with a damp rag, replaces the odd rubber n bulb and lists it as fully workshopped with a stupid price on it.
And the immortal words “ I no wot it’s werth”

Or the phrase I like when they try and justify the huge price is, “It has been professionally serviced” 🙄

I hope you manage to work out a deal and get it.
 
IMHO , Value of DE is in the theme so (discounting King Kong and other ultra low production)
Back to the Future is most desirable then..

traditionally LW3 was the bottom feeder dot matrix game but Id now say its Rocky N Bulwinkle
Cant see Checkpoint , Monday Night Football , Maverick or Hook being particularly in demand but its all wild now!

The early DE are hidden gems. Really like Torpedo Alley!
