Looked a decent original but unless it’s very special isn’t 3500 about right/ near top whack anyway for a Fish Tales ?? A popular game then and now so plenty out there. One of the reasons I’ve had and sold 3 - can always get another.

Don’t recall many going much higher unless they are full refurb jobs. And I don’t mean just new decals. There are quite a few redecalled ones knocking around now. Some better than others.
I've always wondered why Fish Tales is so cheap as it's among my favourite games. Ours isn't directly replaceable because I made the topper from spare parts, so it's got a lot of sentimental value now 🐟

I'm surprised my PinBot hasn't moved yet, as it's a good game for its era in good condition at what I understand to be a good price. Last year, I'd have been fighting people off...

I love that translite of yours and have one on order with Phil along with B.A.s art blades to match. ❤️

You listed Pinbot less than 24 hours ago 😂

Reactions: JT.
So given the s**tshow with the Doctor Who, at £1422.06 is this World Challenge Soccer currently the cheapest working DMD pin to have sold on eBay this year?

Yeah but, last year, genuinely, it felt like even average pins disappeared in minutes

Weird times, I guess. Weird times... 🤷‍♂️
I think in reality you joined the hobby at an entirely atypical time, when people had huge disposable income due to not being able to spend it on holidays, etc, and lots of free time to fill - so perhaps have skewed expectations. What you are seeing now is just more what it was like in the decade prior to covid - and neither Fish Tales nor Pinbot are A-list titles, so would have often sat around for a while before selling.

Yeah, that's what I meant. The 'pins disappeared in minutes' was the weird times... :)

Indeed, and although a little unnerving having a pin advert up for days, it does mean having a little time to consider purchases when buying (sometimes). It's likely that those that may have snapped cheaper pins up 6 months ago are now committed to new in box. Much healthier times ahead.

Just BIN'd a Metallica Pro on eBay. Before I even had chance to make payment the seller cancelled the listing. Reckons he had it listed elsewhere. I'm dubious and reckon someone has PMd him a higher offer. Poor show

I think the market is a little slow at the moment. Plenty of games sitting around at pretty good prices.

Brilliant looking job lot for someone! Wish I could go for it.

Vector, Jokerz, Taxi , Whirlwind
Sold for £4600. If they’re honest machines that looks like it was a good deal. Hope they buyer had a proper look at them first….

99.9% its taxi and whirlwind the buyer wants .I went 4200 just to try and get whirlwind. Expect to see jokers and vector offloaded very quickly lol

I was in for £4,500 but must've done it drunk because I dont remember putting a high bid. Hope there's not too much work. They look a bit rusty/mouldy so fingers crossed the boards are good too

Depends on how much he likes a nice project I would think ? Ive got a Gorgar to collect which I will likely clean-up and sell. Most likely make nothing out of it - but that's not the motivation. Long as I break even in terms of £££ spent (as opposed to covering the hours spent iyswim)

I thought it was the stern turtles on Facebook so didn't bother looking. Hopefully gets the treatment it desperately needs
Sorry dude, I forget Stern did one! Someone mentions Turtles and it's the Data East one I think of.

That turtles looks like its been in the actual sewers!
As long as it doesn't smell like it.... someone's grabbed it. :)

The description for the Star Trek is a bit challenging; "was working will.." (was working well, albeit 6 years ago)/ "been severing" (no idea)/ sold as seen & location/ "things 50s or 60s" (think it's 50's or 60's?). Which considering it's marked 1979 somewhere, and the series didn't start until 1966, seems pretty clueless.

Note for trekkies - Ipdb shows that Bally produced a single prototype E/M game by Greg Kmiec with the Enterprise shown on the backglass, under the name Star Ship. Lightshield artwork also shows a similar ship to the Discovery from 2001; two for one?. Bally had the licence for Star Trek, but decided not to proceed with this project. The layout later surfaced as Supersonic, so maybe it was just as well.
