If it was legit, £1800 was a bargain.
It was in what catagory? Oh ****.... I was never gonna find that! Well done if it was a regular here! :)

A lot more sense sold separately but his choice. Unlikely to reach the end. I've bought a lot of 4 to get one l want this year and this would be the same scenario

With that Addams, I've seen those pictures elsewhere recently, maybe a little further up this thread.

I thought so, reply No. 155, with an asking price over £10,000..

It's got all the hallmarks of a scam. The winner probably wanted cash on pick up so he relisted. If not £4k is dreamland for this.
I've lost count of the number of times I've messaged an ebay seller checking if cash on collection is ok and being told no. I can't understand it, it's car purchase prices, but who would pay a stranger thousands sight unseen. Not me, unless it's someone well known on here

Agreed. I'd never pay before seeing the machine for eBay listings.

I won the auction, I've attached what he said below. I've obviously complained to eBay, but it's a **** show obviously. eBay are still actually asking me to pay for it as he hasn't cancelled the sale, I was going to pay for it through PayPal anyway, but it doesn't seem like anything will be done anyway. Basically it just seems like, if your not happy with what an auction ends at, you don't need to sell the game, ah well!

It's a joke. Had it listed for a week and didn't notice when people were bidding on it. Sounds like a load of old flannel to me

Classic cars have fallen significantly
Used cars are falling
Houses are falling
Watches have fallen significantly, especially at the top end

Pinballs are one of the best performing asset classes right now

I like the feedback you left. I hope someone bids then doesn't pay with the many excuses of children placed a bid / wife never gave permission / the machine is not refurblished (haha) / I thought it was a Young Doctors pinball etc.

Has the lower end of the pinball market slowed down?

No one bidded on what looks like a nice fish tales. No cab fade, topper etc. £3500 0 bids.

It is nice and plays really well. The owner is on pinballinfo.

I saw that and watched it too. If everyone at my end of the market (the lower end) is in the same boat as me, we have to watch the bargains come up and pass by all year with only a couple of purchasing windows available to me....a bit like the football transfer market.

So to continue the "theory", maybe less buyers at the lower end of the market in a position to buy.

Looked a decent original but unless it’s very special isn’t 3500 about right/ near top whack anyway for a Fish Tales ?? A popular game then and now so plenty out there. One of the reasons I’ve had and sold 3 - can always get another.

Don’t recall many going much higher unless they are full refurb jobs. And I don’t mean just new decals. There are quite a few redecalled ones knocking around now. Some better than others.

I'd say for eBay its pretty well priced to be honest.

Given recent prices on eBay and on here, was just suprised it didn't get a single bid.
