I just wipe the dust off and pick the media out using a little set of picks, no need to wash anything. I have washed parts prior to tumbling before if they're really dirty just to give the tumbler a bit less work to do but generally only if they've got a load of that black greasy gunk on them
After buying a car load of bits from Mr Splooter @ronsplooter many years ago the project is finally finished.
New CPR Playfield, New Backglass, New Display (Thanks Davey) and many, many other new bits makes this extremely shiny all over.
Many thanks to @CHRIS B PINBALLS for doing the playfield swap (after I chickened out working on the new one) and putting the rest of it together, it looks fantastic.
@ronsplooter, after this being in bits for 13 years I think you can now tag this thread complete I'm loving the game....

It isn’t easy with a box full of bits but very rewarding as that box of bits gets smaller and smaller. I actually enjoy them.
