Twilight zone - not mine no connection.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TWILIGHT-...eo_Games_Coin_Operated_MJ&hash=item4cfd50e350

Hi the seller was in touch with me when I had mine on ebay.

He sent me some pictures , I would tread warily if considering buying it.

Although the decals were "brand new" - when I pressed him and asked about the

pictures - they have no red on them at all - it has faded totally to grey.

Other things he told me did not really tie -up either.

He told me he bought it from Pinball Paradise in Blackpool, it would seem that

he was not totally clear in what he was buying when he bought it.

Good luck.

I think his username is what people must say when they see the price!

Sneaking suspicion it won't sell for the asking price

You never know, his username would suggest he can perform miracles

Step away from the crack pipe

Perhaps it comes with a load of crack hidden under the pf, hence the asking price

Yeah I know that.

This is the recent thread on rgp

It does sound closer to happening than ever before. Apparently the plate can be remade for the foil effect no prob, just a question of funding. It looks like Pinball Inc, the ramp guys, are serious about getting involved. Be cool if it happens.

Someone told me something about Pinball Inc that was pure comedy today, based on that I wouldn't be too hopeful as they're a bit slapdash by the sounds of it

Sarah posted on the Pin group that she has one for sale. Dont know on condition but the price should be a lot less than what Mr Evans wants for one.

She's in Poole, Dorset by the way.

£2700 for a filthy TAF  Missing rubbers, grimy PF, pics aren't close enough to tell how much wear there is!?

This was a £1k machine 3 years ago. Mental

He offered me this machine for a £1000 last week and then changed his mind. Went for a look as it was only round the corner and it was horrible, everything either broken or worn out, lots of errors and non-working parts, playfield was absolutely filthy and knackered. door broken with no lock, tried to play a game but it was impossible as the ball kept getting stuck in the out-hole. It was like playing in slow motion as the ball was sticking in the black grime. This machine has had a very hard life and no way has been in a private collection! I walked away. Some poor bugger has been turned over by an outrageous description.

It's a disgrace when you get this whole 'one careful owner' type ********. That's a lot of money for a screwed TAF!

Its up to us as a community to name and shame these sellers.

There is nothing worst than driving for 4 hours spending £100 on fuel to find out that the well below average TAF that was described as being in near mint condition is only fit for the tip.

So, who was it then? Its been a while since i made another mental entry in my 'good guys/bad guys of pinball' list.

I see the MM is still on ebay at 8k. It seems there is a limit to what people will go to for that table after all! Been on there since December!

No self respecting pinball collector would fork out that kind of money as its not in line with the current market prices. End of line.

And long may it stay there.

Thats just greedy.

When it's common knowledge he paid 5k it is.

I'm fine with people buying pins for a bargain price and then asking the going rate when they come to sell. There's no moral obligation to do yourself out of cash because you got a good deal. But like Russ says, it annoys me when people are just blatantly trying to make a quick buck and are selling way above the going rate
