That roadshow has the potential to be a very bad investment for someone if it hasn't worked for years. Hopefully it might just be a blown fuse but "non working" covers all sorts of sins....o_O Maybe I'm being blinded by my hatred of RS and in fact it's a steal...

But I'll need a 'project' that sits in the back of the shed for 6 months. Especially if Flash Gordon is going!

Part of that space was taken up by the R&B that's now sitting in my back room.

Was a pleasure dealing with Matt and I've been over the moon with my purchase. I only hope the Corvette goes to someone who wants to look after it.

From Devon020305? Ask JMP about the wonderful experience he had with that seller. Or check out the thread detailing all the hidden issues with the TOM

The TOM on ebay, same seller has a playboy etc, seller probably reads this forum I think, but what the hell.

He has NOT owned that TOM for years, and it has NOT been re dacalled.

How do I know this?

I pulled that exact TOM out of someone's shed a few months ago, he'd owned it for well over a decade and his misses wanted it gone. For what I paid (cheap) it was a steal, the pf was decent enough, but was filthy and hadn't been serviced in a long time. He has cleaned it up and replaced trunk fair enough, but the metal bits on pf is still tarnished and need removing and cleaning / tumbling , and while the cab was reasonable the art is original to when it was produced back in the nineties, it is not new.
For those that remember him, Keith best was servicing this up until he retired a cuple years back. (Oh, and boards were pretty clean)

Just thought I'd throw this out there.

Getting quite murky buying pinballs on ebay lately isn't it :(

That's the same seller that JumboSinbad360 bought an X-Files off a week or two back?

Not saying that he's a good seller but the feedback from Jumbo seemed fair enough and he does have good feedback on eBay. Maybe a case of trying to avoid it looking like he's flipping to turn a quick profit? Or simply that people are more trusting if they think it's from his 'personal collection'?
