Re TWD. good job I was busy setting up machines as I'd have had that. too cheap. buy it , paypal on credit card , worry about legitimacy later. ebay buyer always right set up has to work in your favour sometimes.

What's the deal with the MM scammer?

Just a persistent con artist whom I assume will try to get you to transfer money and then not give you any pinball - "I'm sorry sir, your pinball got lost in the post on its way from Zimbabwe". Obviously he uses MM because it's a high ticket item.

This idiot seems to pop up under different matured accounts. He's either hacking or buying used eBay accounts from somewhere.

ELEKTRA reasonably high in the desirability stakes. @myPinballs sold his on here recently for £1,600 but not really a representative sample as it had been given the ULTRA-SEX TREATMENT with full playfield restoration, 6 new flippers, much nicer original cabinet, custom powder-coated yellow legs, all the electrics seen to my man who seriously knows his stuff, and even included brand new myPinballs reproduction SQUAWK & TALK sound board worth £150 on it's own.

For this one, assuming it works and plays when switched on, I'd think about parting with about £350-450 as the playfield has some bad wear and really it looks like the whole needs a top to bottom restoration to bring it back to it's former glory.

Already £310 with nine days to go. I don't know about 'what it's worth' but I suspect it will sell for over £650.

Yeah, I would expect a worker, regardless of cosmetics, to go for 550/600 + on ebay

I don't doubt it on eBay! I was just responding to @Tony's question and giving my view based on the 5 crappy photos on the listing. I'd love an ELEKTRA but that one would need as much work as my GOLD BALL, probably more as it's a more complex multi-level game with perspex playfield so I'd imagine the parts bill could hit £500 very easily.

A Stern. Punter gets whats coming after suggesting to Gary that the latest SM version is rather basic ...
