This has been on for ages. Now down to 2K. Looks rough though - lockdown bar wear, front cab faded and marked - no pics of sides, expect the same, security bar fitted. A while ago out of interest I asked if it had the topper or blinders ...the reply was .... 'you can come and view it'. I read that as 'no' then. If anyone is after a Tommy, I'd be cautious on this overpriced example.
 
Just popped up on gumtree no pictures, what does anyone think about price, all depends on condition but slightly? High?

At the top end of the pricing I think, but presumably with it being Gumtree there is room to negotiate down.

The cabs are made of metal, so I imagine they would play and sound strange compared to a normal pin. There are going to be no spare parts what-so-ever for any of the NSM specific stuff, tech information for the unique boardsets is limited, so these are going to be for hardcore repairers.

I would love to own them, if only because they are technically very interesting to me, and I've love the challenge of getting them working, but it's hard to justify the space (that I don't have) when I have so many machines already unfortunately.
 
They were chasing my bid of 350. im out now. The play field looks nice under the grime.Courtney is kindly about to work her magic on my original centaur so it could have been "fun" to work on both at once
 
He's also got some Tron decals for Playfield walls, sorry don't know the correct terminology (same place as mirror blades).

I was bidding on the one which went for just over £1200, If I didnt bid it would of went even cheaper.
I owned of of these around 15 years ago, it looked and sounded great and like you would only have another to put next to the R2, but its not a good pin, you will complete it in a week and never play it again.
 
Yep, its my auction. Looking for £1800 cash for it. Never listed it on here as never gets good press. Had 2 of these with the aim of keeping this one. Stripped and cleaned both and but all the good bits (and a load of new bits) on this one. Just a shame the cab isn't the best. Had one of these years ago and then got the bug to get another one. I think its a great game just because of the theme, and when I have had a few people round this one is the most popular !!!! (That was over Tron LE, STLE, IM, DESW and GnR)
Not that fussed about it moving on hence the price :). It will just be a bit of a squeeze when Tommy turns up.

Thanks for the info. I'll hold back for now in the hope something cheaper comes up. I don't mind a bit of a project so condition not so important.

No, it's a "butchering a good game thing" :eek: So someone had drilled a hole in the playfield and fitted a pop up post thats activated by that extra blue button on the cab?!?!?!? Why?!?!?! :tut: What a way to f*ck up a classic game :cuckoo:
