****ing Hell. You'd have to be brave to take that on. Bet it still makes £500 or so though. I love the pics of the twigs etc under the glass. Seller actually seems reasonably honest though. It must have been tempting to bring it inside Stick one photo up with the old "it might be a fuse" line and do a BIN for £600. Bet it would have gone within an hour.

One here from Gary in South Yorkshire ....

Luckily for the buyer ... "Slight fault to the scoring system but easy fix"

This Ding Dong sold for £440 on eBay recently. So...
A) is the eBay buyer flipping it for a profit?
B) did the eBay sale fall through and the eBay seller is trying again on Gumtree?
C) did someone steal the photos from the eBay listing to make a fake Gumtree ad?

I think my money is on B.

Lethal Weapon 3, Pinball Machine

What does anyone think it will make?
LW3 has long been the bottom of the market for DMD games (ok possibly Freddy is, but that's a Gotty so it doesn't count) and nowadays I'd expect a average one to fetch easily £800 on the forum, possibly up to a grand on eBay for a nice one. I bought and sold mine 3 years ago for £600.

If someone contacts this guy, see if you can persuade him to take a pic of the boards and share the greenery with us all. I'm gonna predict a final sale price of £651.01 regardless. Anyone wanna go higher?

Wipe out is bottom of DMD lists. Used to be hurricane but newbies blinded by magic word williams

Steve you beat me to it!!

Look at this on eBay
Lethal Weapon 3, Pinball Machine

What does anyone think it will make? What are good ones making £750?
I'm gonna guess it will disappear!

F**K ME ...I just properly looked at the photos of this.

Its up to £250 already.

Seriously ...are people that desperate they are bidding on this horror show !?!:eek:

Backbox is fubar, clearly damp, falling apart. There are chunks of blue wood scattered around the machine. The beacon is trashed.

Main cab not much better. Especially the front. Boards and DMD condition are unknown. So you could be hundreds in already for those.

God knows what lurks under the playfield. Someone is gonna spend waaaay too much on this crock of sh*t

Scary I had a leathal weapon 3 mint and I got £850 for it! Bet it still make a lot to someone who don't know what's involved, :-/

I actually like LW3. Sold mine last year for £750. It's got to be one of the cheapest DMDs still out there. Maybe gets a little competition from Hook and SFII. Even a NIB would probably struggle to break a grand. I think it's a combination of so many of them out there (is it the2nd best selling DMD game?) and crap art / camp theme

I'd still advise newbies to buy one as a starter game, just not this one!

I always thought LW3 was a direct rip off of T2 but with a really annoying sound sample (typical of Data East at the time).
I used to enjoy playing it though.

I also prefer it to T2. I really enjoyed it while I had it. I would like to have another one day. Not this one though!

Using gumtree a lot more and seems to be sourcing better machines now and using less flannal. Prices are top book. Still wish I hadn't bought one of my machines from him as it still needs work. Although it's a great title. If I do come to sell it. It will be a lot better than how I got it..

At the risk of sounding facetious, It's a Williams Friendship 7, themed on the real-life space capsule of the same name. It (the capsule, not the pinball) made the first manned earth orbit by a u.s. astronaut, AIR.

I understand it's the first pinball to feature a drop target, centrally placed above the flippers. Behind it is a reel mechanism (showing 'E' in the listing pictures) which indicates which letter of the F-R-E-I-N-D-S-H-I-P spellout feature will be spotted by hitting the target.
