Is it odd that the seller is Uttoxeter and the machine has to be collected from Blackpool?


Uttoxeter is where Stormy Nick lives @mufcmufc, he's an admin on here. I can't check as I'm on my phone and when I click that via Tapatalk it takes me to some text but not to eBay itself. maybe Nick will see this and comment if he knows the seller or not.

Are they difficult to repair and maintain? What do you do for parts?

No harder than any other pin of that age. Game specific parts can be tricky to get, just needs more searching and patience then for common games :thumbs:
 
Will krylon acrylic spray salvage this?? ;)

Interesting, Stevie694 on pinballowners claims to have the only working machine in existence, he's based in blackpool, is he selling off his collection? (150 odd machines). Presumably he's on this forum? Tried contacting him before now on pinball owners to see what he's currently selling but no answer.. #

Anyway, the ebay auction has been pulled now..

Think he's sold most?? heard some got smashed up by a disgruntled son that were at the families marital home....
 
Maybe it's time to have a sticky to bring new members up to speed on certain topics ;)
I'd suggest:
Blackpool seller - ******* or total *******?
Tobin - useful source of rare machines or seller of deathtraps?
Why you should never ever in any circumstances ask Cooldan to send you any images
Why whatever you buy will never beat the deal Grizz got.
TOM sort after game or useful for firewood?

Think that will pretty much sum up the last 5 years discussions:)

the only backglass even bearable is the Firepower.

as for timewarp. game is creepy , why is deformed Siamese twin from Basket Case on the cabinet side art?!
 
I would have been interested in all of those machines, they looked cool and quirky. A as they were in Blackpool, couldn't be bothered

Can I just point out that not all people in Blackpool are bad ;)
 
Oh well forget that then, they've pulled all the pinball stuff, so I expect someone has snuck in and bought it all
 
Luke's got a cracking selection of machines.
I think private ownership is the only place to find machines, sad to say from a once one of the best places to find pinball in the wild.
 
that mad world glass is from the Thomson auction. one of the worse condition games there
 
They've been on Ebay for ages, multiple times :) Not sure why they've not sold to be honest as you'd think someone must want some better Space Station plastics :hmm:

Space Station plastics/sets seem to pop up often actually. I know as I've kept an eye of SS bits for years now - in the hope of a minty upper playfield appearing ... missed one once cos I was being tight and didnt want to pay the asking price, with hindsight I was an idiot :rolleyes: Did they maybe run off loads of these at production time for some reason.
 
I am being tempted by the Simpsons, but as never a data east fan, never really played it ..( Yes the pinball works, it just has distortion on the sound. Play field just has general wear and tear)

Thoughts anyone ...
 
ss production was cut short as ops didn't like the lack of inlanes. there were therefore more supplus translites and plastic sets than normal. Gary flower had dozens of new old stock translites as one point
