EBay auctions 2016

I'd guess about £1800 on here is the going rate. The pics in that one look OK, but picture can be very deceiving and I wouldn't consider buying from ebay unless I'd been to see it first. Then, if interested, I'd try and do the deal off ebay because that will save the seller a LOT in fees, which I'd expect to see at least some of the benefit from. I think we have some people in Barrow on the forum, and maybe someone would go /has already been to take a look for you.

P.S. you don't need to pretend it's 'for a friend' on here. We all know the deal ;).

Great advise, thx. I'll let him know the score. It genuinely is for a friend. I've just bought a Roadshow and would get my balls cut off if I brought another machine home ;)
I think he might have been put off by sttng now, thinking it will be to complicated to maintain.

Look at this on eBay
Ballys Corvette Pinball Table machine collectors quality

Only 2 pictures HUO owned for 18 yrs looks nice!

My Fathom is better than that one has ORIGINAL playfield NOT OVERLAY with no wear, I will put new CHROME legs on it if anyone wants to pay me 4 grand!!!

I am biased. I own one. To many folk Fathom is the holy grail of Bally SS pinball (personally though I prefer playing Paragon) but this price is mad, mad, mad.

The game does look stunning though. Looks like this one was done properly with real attention to detail - the side rails, polished cabinet bolts, polished backglass lifter .....

What is the most a Fathom has actually sold for in recent years?

According to pinpedia in the uk £950 in 2010, and more recently £785 in Nov 2015.
But as with pinpedia you don't know condition etc... And many sales don't show up on pinpedia but it does give an idea

That 785 one was battered iirc. I suspect these days 1k would be bottom line for rough worker, and 1.5 for a decent-ish one.?? Obvs more for minter with new playfield etc.

Hi guys,
Ive got a friend who really wants a STTNG and is thinking about picking this up for his first machine. I would appreciate your thoughts on this one as it looks like it has a few issues. Also what do people think a STTNG should go for?

Looks decent enough. Faults will be an easy fix I reckon. Cabinet looks in decent shape. Playfield needs a clean. Good starting price that..

I thought I was mad forking out for a Halifax playfield and a NOS glass for fathom . bit the bullet as could never find one with a nice original playfield. it is the most beautiful pinball made and I think the expense and forthcoming effort of putting it all together is worth it. pinpedia should show the wreck I sold on ebay for £250 but doesn't show the fact it had no pcbs no displays and no backglass

Not like you to sell wrecks Steve?

At least he lists it in the description..Again if it was your machine it's something you would look to source and replace..

The cabinet is in good condition, usual marks and knocks for age, most notably the original ball shooter handle has been replaced with a start button (see pics)

Indeed. But they are unobtainium. You can get the shroud but not the lever mech.
