6-7 years old was when games had done their earning and companies looked to offload. 2/3 of games offered tended to be Bally. I looked out for zacs as they were never worn and were quite common in the midlands as Associated Leisure in Burtoin were the distributer. the one game that kept earning the best was EBX. the Rocky still exist in the hands of Brian Cox. originally came from Gary Flower who couldn't sell it for love or money at the time.

EBay is attracting more idiots than usual this week

Bally Wizard £3,500 "Playfield and cabinet in above average condition"

Williams Magic City £2,800 "needs TLC to get it in full working condition. This is reflective in the price"

Bally Playboy £2,650

Yup, laughed at that one as I noticed a flipper the wrong way round!

Lol the Gottlieb wedgehead Central Park is more collectable and worth more (£300) than the Williams Magic City (maybe £150) I'd say :D

What do you all reckon this ones worth

With the switch issue/s it's got I'd say about £1800 in the current market. Should be an easy fix if that's all that's wrong with it and the Neutral Zone hole looks in good shape with very little wear. Obviously if there's more stuff wrong with it and/or more wear and tear that isn't showing in the pics then reduce price accordingly :)

The big thing in that advert for me though is "buyer is required to organise moving the machine as it's up a flight of stairs". Sounds like the seller doesn't want to be involved in moving it and I don't blame him...shifting that beast downstairs is going to be a b*stard. Maybe knock some money off my valuation for having to move it :D And take a few people with you if you are serious about buying it!

I'd rather eat my own head than move a sttng down a flight of stairs!!

Saying that I did move an RFM down stairs once. That sucked

WE know that you put things on ebay ridiculously over priced to fish for a no fuss no fees cash sale . Unfortunately the average Joe wants very close to the asking price. I bet if you offered £2500 cash for that TNG it would be a NO!

I was wrong. my £1500 offer on the TNG was countered but its a thanks but no thanks from me

Hi there, i would be prepared to do a deal outside of ebay with bank transfer or paypal on pickup for £2,500

my ST TNG paid history is frightening . average over 31 machines is £416

RE defender pin. I have turned down 2k on mine so going on its condition as played at the NLP I think price start point is fair.

Genuine seller
Genuine game
Decent photos
Properly advertised

So many of these are traded in off eBay deals, will be interesting to see if this goes the distance

I thought I would email the people selling the Magic City to ask if that was the correct price they were asking

This is the correspondence I received, so maybe people are prepared to pay silly money :cuckoo:

Just for the record I have no interest in buying an EM, just being nosey :D

I went to have a look at it on Sunday. It looked like the mansion had been re decalled (but i must stress i am no expert! ). The printing of the decal was a bit wobbly which i think gives it away. The chair hole and swamp hole were fairly worn too. The playfield had several layers of plastic sheets protecting it and you could notice it in the way the balls roll over it. But by all accounts this might be the price to pay for a TAF nowadays.

Yep . Something not quite right with the text on the mansion windows. Must be an overlay.
