As @Nedreud

Best bet to score a project or a cheapy really is word of mouth. Let every single person you meet know you are into pinball. Go to shows or meets, make contact with pinheads. Most of my good scores have been this way. cheeky bid myself as it was local :) Didnt win.

Wise words from the Grizz man. It will also have the unintended benefit that after a month or so of following this advise all your old friends will be sick to death of you talking about pinball, new people will actively avoid you and your social life will be a wasteland. Hey presto, no more spending money on being invited to the pub or restaurants and your pin fund will magically start growing,

I have found growing my thinning hair long and wearing shorts 24/7 helps to greatly speed up the process...

Another textbook ebay listing. Apparently its 'nice'. Pics show no legs, machine switched off, rusty door, faded front decals , no pics of sides - suspect worst, rusty ramp flaps, broken plastic, missing HK ship, insert wear etc

1200 start ... bid away ! ;)
I'm definitely seeing rusty ramp flaps! But in it's defence it does appear to sporting both coin door and backbox keys so surely it must be a AAA+ minter! ;)

Surprised no one's picked up on the sellers location yet as it's down as UK but nothing else. I also find its good to check out the other items the seller has up for sale.

Don't know if anyone out there would like any cheap jewellery to go with this pin?

I was outbid on eBay around 5 years ago in the last second . it sold at £505. Quirky ones I have had included Truckstop and Grand Lizard. My current F14 is in bits but is the 16th one

lock system was a homage to Stern Flight 2000. Keith Best had an almost new one at Pinball Owners Association Show 1991. You can see it in my uploaded video.

I had a cheeky early bid on this FT as it's local to me, but it's gone too high already for what it's actually worth. :(

The cabinet is nice on the LHS and front, but who knows what the RHS is like? Bad wear on the fish inserts and beneath the boat, chipped sling covers, loose launch handle - and of course no fish topper! That in itself knocks a couple of hundred off the price. Also it looks like it's booting up from a factory reset, god knows what the batteries are like on the cpu board. :-o

I could have made a nice one out of this and the one I already have, but I'm out on this one!

Best avoid anyway - it was shilled to £1k which maxed out two punters then withdrawn. There may still be further shilling towards the end of the listing... :suspect:
