Usually it's good company, which we often have at our parties. Don't really hear any homophobic or sexist talk at parties I attend.

Well this thread pretty much went the way we all knew it would.

Generally speaking this is a pretty tolerant place to visit. An unmoderated section is always going to throw up problems. It shines a spotlight on things you disagree with rather than all the other good things the poster has previously said.

I too played on railway lines and dodged those big hitting trains

I too used to play on or near the line, squashing pennys and such.
But rarely in sight when a train was approaching. Still stupid though.

I see it in a different light now, it's absolutely terrifying as a driver to see anyone, let alone children near the line. No point taking this thread somewhere dark though!
