NERG (North East Retro Gaming) July 5th & 6th 2014

Just got back from a great weekend at NERG with my son Matt.

Well done to Big phil and his team and all the NLP lads (and lasses!). As usual everyone one was a great fun to be with and fantastic help. Hope the show has raised lots of money and look forward to the Play expo next in Manchester in October !!!

For info my FishTales had just over 400 games played on it at the weekend !!!

Just back myself. Good to see you again Kev & Matt with the rest of the NLP guys. Yep, a great weekend again, nice one Phil. :) Good lineup of pins with no major breakdowns and amazing amount of vid cabs this year. Looked a busy turn out, particularly on the Sat. Better hotel and got to see some of Newcastle on the Sat night after the comedy club. Hen night central !!

Just one more thing.... Dan....?! Dan....?! DAN !!!! An ignorant sod all weekend that one....

Contender for best weekend ever. Fantastic job Phil and the team. Really, really nice to go to a show where you feel so well looked after by the organisers.

And hats off to the wonderful bunch that make it a great birthday for me. May have said all this before, but I've only been in this hobby but a few short years, and since then I have met the most fantastic and welcoming bunch of people that I can happily now call friends. Truly an honour, thanks guys.

Your late appearance (or slow recovery !) on your '40th' Sunday morning Paul was testament to a good night on the Sat. Just a shame the pub threw us out !! :D
 
I hope you all got home safely! I'm beat.....wished I'd taken the day off work. Once again, a massive thank you to all you guys in the pinball community. A lady has done some amazing photography and popped it on the facebook page. I'll put them up here.

I dnt remember the event being in sepia!!!! Although with all the beer we all had sat night my eyes cld barely focus sun morn!
 
i tried that but it's all just the cabs and consoles, which do nothing for me. i was hoping for something recorded by one of you pinheads, so it ignores everything else and just shows me the pinporn. i think @Carl Spiby posted something on his FB page or i may have dreamt that.
