As some of you may have seen on Gonzo's chinwag, next week kicks off one of the biggest competitive pinball events of all time!! 11 days of pinball competition with all of the best players in the world in attendance!

The weekend after the EPC Bulls and Balls also have a tournament on at the same time as the IFPA worlds that Craig and Andy will be at... it's called IFPA 18.5 and there's still spaces if anyone wishes to be involved.

Our ticket shop is already available Tickets IFPA18,5

Those who only want to participate in the Head-to-Head tournament on Saturday/Sunday can also register at fulda@pinballevents.de.

Here is the schedule again:

Thursday 01.06.2023 from 16:00 Warm-up Tournament
13 rounds head-to-head, semi-finals and finals for top 8.

Friday 02.06.2023 – Saturday 03.06.2023 IFPA18½.
Qualifying rounds – 8 rounds World Championship format.

Saturday 03.06.2023 from 16:00 – Sunday 04.06.2023
IFPA18½ final rounds - top 32 play best-of-7 until final
Side tournament (entry for IFPA participants possible at any time): 40 rounds of Swiss Mode, Top 24 play best-of-5 until the final.

Came 8th out of 45 in my pingolf group so I'm out, only 1 or 2 strokes from qualifying. Can't complain - learned a lot. Hopefully will help tomorrow as the tilts are brutal.

Is there anywhere to view results? Unless I'm missing something Matchplay only ever seems to show qualifying standings, once knockout stages are reached there's nothing more to see?

It only shows each groups qualifying Dave, not how it played out afterwards ( unless I'm missing something ).
