Definitely the most practical car I've ever owned....by a long shot. And strangely I can't stop looking at it. And I love that the Police use the VRS version as a high speed fast response dog unit. It's a perfect dog wagon.

I sold this last year, or was it the year before? I don't remember. Confusing times. But this was the first car I ever bought. I owned it for 25 years. 80k miles from new and I was the 2nd owner.

This was a garage find. Old lady told me about it and eventually let me rescue it. Left it in there from 1993 to 2015. I had to remove the broken key from the garage lock and then pick the lock to open it. This was the first day light it had seen in 22 years.
Rolled out easily.

I'd love a pocket rocket that reminds me of the old Golf Mk1&2 days. These are probably a little too nutty but I'd love an Up GTi as a runaround.
My brother in law took over. It is drivable and being welded up. Probably going to stay looking like a barn find though as he likes the authenticity.
My first beetle got the restocal treatment but I wish I'd kept it bog standard now. As they say... it's only original once.

I picked up 6 in 6 when I had a boxster but I got rid of it as I really wanted a boxer (dog). I part ex'd the boxster for a Focus ST-3. More practical, still bags of fun.
I know mate, I was giving it the big one with my son coming up a steep hill with 2 lanes with a 50 limit that goes into my village.
I left a golf going up and was doing about 120, a 5 series bmw was near the top but thought he was trying to beat me as it goes back to one lane.
I went a bit harder and was just about to overtake when the blue lights went off that were in the back window, I hammered on the brakes and pulled behind him while my son was laughing. Luckily there was a little side road that I took and never saw the unmarked police car again
