Reactions: JT.
Luv mine just fitted the 2.0 light kit which went very well considering all the cables I ripped out of the cab its a bit scary.

What does it do differently if anything, I was stunned at the price to be honest, but then modern prices for modules (spike2) is mad.

Theres no difference other than a lower intensity LED if you dont have any board issues. I personally had the GI all funky colours when it should have been white. I also had some cable issues so i got the bright flickering LEDs due to data transfer being ng.
I took the plunge to buy the upgrade to make sure my machine held its price and that I didnt have to shell out £30 for each GI board that needed replacing.
The game is defo worth the upgrade as its a family fav as we wait for our MONSTER BASH REMAKE to arrive.

I agree stern system seems the way forward and the JJP setup scares me at times but this game is something else with the RGB light show.

.....and back to the WOZ for sale thread . This has the v2 boards as far as I am aware, and no lighting issues
Someone more knowledgeable than me may know better but I had a WOZ later than yours and had the later 7.5v boards so you could say mine was ver 1.5 or thereabouts.
But I very much doubt it has v2 boards unless you have ordered and fitted them from Phil or JJP at great expense.
The earlier boards than mine were 5v so ver1 I guess.
Back on track with the sale WOZ imo it is an awesome pin and one of JJPs best still.

You may be right then - I've not changed them since I owned it, which is well over a year, maybe 2 years even :hmm:
