worst end stop ever

had a gunning flipper on a machine i bought :

look at the chuffing end stop:

fitted a new one. all perfect.

machine had been refurbed !!!

Had a couple of new Stern end stops literally fall apart recently.

So with this refurb what other horrors have you found?

Yeah - in the past seen a few bad ones but I think this takes the biscuit. Sure it has lasted longer than some of the latest Stern end stops.
I think I would give this machine a break, as it is no doubt older.

Just what i was thinking. Shows the quality of original parts. Bet that end stop was on there for a good 35 years plus! maybe even from new! Not gonna get that from a new stern game!

Sorry that’s child’s play in comparison to what I’ve just sorted.

This is what I call abuse and I could have easily put 20 pics up just as bad showing sticky plasters, wood screws ect ect ect.

Had similar shooter rod on my taf when I got it, it looked like someone had crimped a metal shooter tip onto the shooter rod but it was just the rod had split, splayed and then gathered up.. new rod sorted
