I have a few pins stored at my office that is closing soon so need to move these on.

This has had very little use since i have owned it, tested yesterday and all seems to work fine.

The pics are not great i can take more if needed.

Good points

Cabinet is in excellent condition
Original manuals included.
All lamps are led's - looks amazing
Original display, no faults / no dead pixels / no lines missing
Translite in great condition
Lots of playfield mods have been fitted
Side rails
Few spare plastics

Not so good
I cant think of anything its a great condition machine.

Price is £3500

Thanks for tags from people who messaged me unfortunately I was driving so was late to this one … obviously my wanted advert I’ve had up for several month looking for a T2 worked 🤪 unbelievable
Agree the wanted ads aren’t that effective are they? Think my IJ wanted ad has been up for a few years now… not a single bite!

I think the point is that sellers don’t look at want ads before posting a for sale
And that buyers post and forget.... Remember - If it's not fresh in someones mind then they wont remember.... unless they look, and you cant force anyone to do that!

I'll put something in the forum description to see if it jogs peoples memory when they put their machine on here!

To be fair to the seller (who I've been in contact with for HS2), he's not been involved in the hobby recently so won't have been up to date regarding which members desired specific machines.

I have to be honest here . . . . I had completely forgot that Silver Paolo wanted one when I saw the advert initially otherwise I'd have tagged him in.

Maybe an area of the forum that could be looked for improvements? It’s really easy for the wanted ads to get lost over time.

Be great if there was an index by game with who is looking and who is selling… maybe even who is happy to trade or temp swap. Getting carried away now!!

Just an idea

Also, I think listing wanted ads for multiple games does make people look like the "Arfur Daley" of the pinball world, so sellers may believe they are going to get low ball offers from a box shifter ? 🤔

Wanted ads work well for shaking the tree and nudging someone who was thinking about moving something on but hadn't got round to it yet. Don't think we can reasonably expect all sellers to trawl through wanted ads before posting a game for sale...

Well that’s a pretty big assumption, can a person not want multiple games ? And I certainly don’t low ball on offers il pay the going rate and what may I ask is a box shifter?

Need a way to be able to attach a specific game to a wanted ad and same for a for sale. And with some coding magic it can do checks when people place a for sale / wanted and be like x and y are selling this game here is the link or something or x and y are after this game and email or link them in?

Or do same as pinside which matched your wanted collection to the for sale section and you that weekly Friday email telling you which of your wanted games are for sale (by then it’s to late around here lol)

Why not have a a table that lists all the machines currently wanted and by whom?

You could then have a pop up that comes up when you post a machine for sale, showing a link to the table to check and contact a member first before posting a for sale ad.

I never mentioned any specific wanted ad, it was an answer as to why perspective sellers might not want to contact someone looking for multiple games. If you took the response to be directed at you personally I apologise for that, but if you ask a question it might mean receiving answers you didn't expect to get, that's life.

Looking for multiple games could also indicate to some sellers that you are a dealer looking to attract stock to move on at a profit ( box shifter ), not everyone on this forum is aware of the comings and goings of certain people and could mistake a multiple add request for that intention and would not contact you for that reason, nothing more than an opinion as to why you were overlooked.

Maybe worth if you are wanting to pay for a pin and more details ie mint players project
Just sold a Williams ij but it would have been more than most would want to pay on here
To be honest every time I have replied to a wanted add there has always been excuses why they don’t want it

Every wanted ad should just have the text “and I want it really cheap” appended to the bottom

again an assumption , probably best deleting the wanted tab then it clearly doesn't work .... everyone becomes an expert on said poster of "wanted" advert being an idiot and a waste of time ...

mmmm I wonder why less and less people use this forum
