Complete White water

All painted, will give it a week to fully cure then flatten the decal sides near to the painted corners.
In the mean time lots of cleaning of cabinet parts.
cabinets have been promoted to the warm house.
When you apply the decals using vinyl application fluid.

Honestly it's so stressful doing it dry method and it can risk pulling the paint when adjusting the decals.

I did do my T.Z dry a few years ago, and yes this time I have paint to deal with.

Looking good mate. That blue looks a spot on match.

+1 for the wet method. It makes it a lot less stressful when applying the decals 👍🏻

Little and slow is the plan

Looks spot on mate. Are you going to try the wet method for the cabinet decals?

Going dry, the back box has straight lines to deal with but came out spot on, the main cabinet is very straight forward. I have taken measurements from the old decals before I stripped the decals. Must have a 100 photos of everything.

Like you said it’s all in the prep, loving the result can’t stop looking at it.

Cabinets ready to go to Ant for screen printing, meanwhile I will just keep looking at the decals.
Chrome bits being dropped off today, hopefully the right decision instead of originally being painted black.

I have to ask, could be an ignorant question. The transformer metal housing is a heatsink right? If so wouldn't painting it reduce its thermal dissipation?

Most likely, but this is what I’m thinking. Once I’m back up and running I will monitor the heat, if indeed it’s not right then it will take no time at all to remove the paint. others have done this before on the forum so I joined the club.
I assume their machines are still running ok.

Yeah I painted my transformer on my T2 which was running all day at Pinfest and didn’t damage the paint. I’ve also did the same on some Arcade cab transformers and they are all good.

I thought would be ok, nice to have it confirmed.

Equal size speaker upgrade, I can now fit speaker lights. The wait for the chrome to be done should be soon I hope.

Thanks goes to Colywobbles for my present that arrived today, all I had to do was the wiring, hooked them up to my 12v separate power supply.

made a donation to Sarcoma U.K on Col’s behalf, you are a gem to this forum.
Thank you so much for being at the end of a text.
