worth changing the socket with a new plug. Great job on the gumball lid.Under playfield ramps done. Staring to re-populate stuff on the top along with fitting LEDs. I don’t seem to have GI on right hand side of playfield but traced this back to a scorched connector J120 on the driver board. Looks like I might also have a dry joint on the underside where the pins are soldered so need to get this out to investigate.
Oh yeah, that is a 3D printed lid for the gumball machine designed and printed y myself. Came out ok and fits quite well after a post print mod. It’s not an exact replica and it does need painting. Notice it doesn’t have the 4 slots in the top which the original moulding tool would have required.
I ended up replacing the 2 end contacts (1 and 11) with 2 unused contacts from the same connector. Worked a treat.worth changing the socket with a new plug. Great job on the gumball lid.
Looking goodRamps back on.
Massive differenceThat’s everything back on the top of the playfield including LEDs. Now to clean the inserts and replace all the lamps on the underside of the playfield.
It time for “Lost In Zone”Finished!
Just a few tweaks to do now to get the play right.
