Turtles Thread

Played it today at Pinball Heaven HQ.

Nice to have finished v1+ software in a game when released. The screen animation is absolutely amazing. Love the artwork on the pro as well.

Also Pinball Info member Marc Silk doing the naration on the game - now that is pretty cool too.

In my mind (for what it is worth) - the best stern for years.

If you are in Birmingham tomorrow - Tilt is having a launch evening with Pizza courtesy of Mr @philpalmer .

Great to know you enjoyed a blast on TMNT Phil. I’ve loved working with the Stern Team performing character voices for this classic!!! Nice job getting the exclusive Pinball Heaven UK first play!! 🎉🎉 🐢🍕

So had TMNT 3 days... Here are some of my thoughts

Off-topic but the machine seems really fast in terms on booting up, bonus and general gameplay animations and computering

Artwork by Zombie Yeti is pure class, really nailed it in my eyes... It is the TMNT I grew up with and love

Sound and animations... Stern is really advancing and they are brilliant

The layout is fast and furious, really loving games like TMNT and JP are utilizing orbits, ramps and being creative with gameplay over toys that look good but don't really add anything

Wasn't overly sold on coding, but its really growing on me now as I'm learning what's what... There are more depths to the rule sets then meets the eye 😂

The only thing I don't like is the scoring needs some balancing

Overall its a win for me

Not too many saying how much they're enjoying the game.

Good, great, average?

How is it folks?

Up to 1.11 already and still adding features. No different to any other game then, just cynically decided to launch this one at 1.0 to imply code complete!

I think it’s a positive thing they are still working on the code. They cannot win either way.

A lot of the stuff in this update are things I’ve seen recommended or asked for on pinside.

Dwight is fairly active over on pinside in the turtles threads acknowledging posts reporting bugs and suggestions so he’s definitely taking it all on as feedback.

1.0 is feature complete isn’t it? So I say happy days if Dwight keeps tweaking and adding new stages to the games current modes, nice work Dwight.

NIB Size, anyone got a box they can measure please?

Hadfields just called, but its on 18.5 tonner, so cant get to the house and need to meet them up on the main road.

Hopefully will go in back of my Landy without deboxing in the road

They couldn't get a 12 tonner down my road. Me and the driver had to wheel a NIB through the town and down my road at 7am, not ideal!

Same story for me in the past, they either had to come back in a smaller van or I usually remind Phil and he sends Martin to deliver it. I imagine the larger trucks are going to struggle to get to most locations with the amount of parking on the roads. You can barely get a car down my street when cars/vans are parked on both sides.

What Landy have you got? I tried to get one in the back of my Defender 110 (with dog cage) and it wouldn’t fit.

Hopefully you are all sorted now!
