The "Today I received" Thread

Thanks to @David retro for my Metallica topper & Cabinet expression lighting. Completely transforms the game - amazing light show 🎉

Expression lights very easy to fit without removing the playfield but the instructions and the number of ferrite cores for the cables is ridiculous, slow and steady though and everything worked first time 👍

Just taken delivery of a Fish Tales, complete with new playfields 😊

It has a Flyland translite and pinblades, to match the same on my Whitewater. These 2 pins are a perfect com
As much as I like the original Artwork, the Flyland designs makeover is fantastic! Really levels the Pins up. VERY nice indeed (and Fish Tales is such an addictive game!)

Not been active on here for a few years so everyone will think "who the hell are you"... but thought I'd share what I received today via Phil at Pinball Heaven.

NIB with a fair few upgrades 😎

I had to say goodbye to my Ghostbusters Pro as on a strict 1 in 1 out (for now).

Does your Bond on a wand work properly? I have one here where the 3rd ball just cannons into the plastic up-post and back down the ramp at the back. Hence, the magnet doesn't get a chance to grab the ball 🤷‍♂️.

I've currently got a Bond Premium (although trading for a SW LE), and I've never had the issue you're having Paul. The post always stops the ball dead and then the magnet activates and grabs the ball a moment later.

Maybe the post is rising too early? Does the post rise to stop the ball rebounding backwards down that ramp at the back?

The post should rise as the ball goes up the ramp. The ball should then hit the post and stop below the position of the magnet (in the position shown in the photo).

Don't always post in here anymore when I get a new game but my first non-stern deserves a mention!

Thanks to @David retro for supplying, delivering and setting up for me, much appreciated.
Many thanks for your order and support always a pleasure I hope you enjoy it and the new play style as well

Been looking for a nice Creech for a while. This one was on eBay briefly and then dropped off again. The seller baulked when eBay added £600 to his asking price! Managed to arrange a private sale. It's had a proper redecal, repainted inside and out, chromed metalwork etc.

(The part Powdercoated FT is doing OCD in!)

and this is what people dont see... the increased sale price, with Ebay now taking increasingly larger chunks - this time from the buyers and not the sellers!

I would ask how he came to that figure.

The Max Buyer Protection Fee is £86.70 based on a listed price of £4k plus.

When purchasing from UK-based private sellers, the Buyer Protection fee is calculated as:

  • A flat fee of up to £0.10 per item, and
  • 7% of the item price up to £20, and
  • 4% of any portion of the item price from £20 to £300, and
  • 2% of any portion of the item price from £300 to £4,000
There is a cap on the total fee amount you'll ever pay. Any portion of the item price over £4,000 will not incur any additional fee. When purchasing multiple quantities within a listing, the flat fee is only charged once.

You'd be better off asking @jonathan that :)
